Screen Rant presents a clip from the new action/thriller Dusk for a Hitman. The film focuses on the complex dynamic between brothers and a mob boss, adding a unique twist. The story is based on the real life of self-proclaimed hitman Donald Lavoie.

Dusk for a Hitman is a new action thriller from Canadian director Raymond St-Jean (A Chair Fit for an Angel) and Saban Films. The movie, written by St-Jean and Martin Girard (Lac-Noir), dramatizes the life of Donald Lavoie, a self-proclaimed former hitman for the infamous French Canadian Dubois Gang. Dusk for a Hitman stars Éric Bruneau, a celebrated Québécois actor known for his work on projects like Avant le crash and The Night Logan Woke Up as Lavoie.

Family and work are set to collide in deadly fashion in director Raymond St-Jean's new feature, Dusk for a Hitman. Based on the true story of former hitman Donald Lavoie, the Canadian crime drama follows Lavoie (Éric Bruneau) as he weighs loyalty to his boss and survival. Working for the real-life Dubois brothers crime gang, he's approached by investigators and offered an opportunity to take down Claude Dubois (Benoît Gouin) as an informant. At the same time, Dubois gives him the unthinkable order to murder his family and prove his fealty. Production began yesterday for the TV series, Apparences, which will be aired on the French Canadian TV network Radio-Canada on January 2011, in Montreal.

This psychological thriller was written by award-winning writer Serge Boucher (Aveux) and will be directed by Francis Leclerc.

The film centres on two twin sisters, Nathalie (Geneviève Brouillette) and Manon (Myriam LeBlanc ) Bérubé. One left her hometown in order to become an actress and the other became a teacher at the elementary school she herself attended. On the day of their fortieth anniversary, the twin sisters reunite with their family and something will change their life.

This upcoming TV series also stars Daniel Parent, Benoît Gouin, Alexis Martin, Nicole Leblanc and Vincent-Guillaume Otis.

Yesterday, Montreal's Festival du nouveau cinéma (Fnc), which will take place from October 13 to 24, revealed its full line-up of films. Nineteen Canadian feature films and documentaries will be presented. However, don't expect to see all films that were screened at the latest Toronto or Vancouver International Film Festivals.

Synopsis:
