Desaparecer is Dorian Fernández-Moris' third film in two years. Moving away from the found footage horror format of his previous pictures, Cementerio General and Secreto Matusita, the director is now trying his hand at an action thriller, and despite some flaws, he's come out with what is probably his best film so far.Giovanni (Ismael La Rosa) travels to the city of Iquitos in search of his girlfriend Milena (Virna Flores), an environmentalist who's gone missing.
