The series finales of "How I Met Your Mother" and "Game of Thrones" can officially step aside. There's a new winner of the "worst series finale" award, and it belongs firmly to "Party of One," the last episode of the "Sex and the City" revival and sequel, titled "And Just Like That..." Indeed, to say this episode is a huge, steaming pile of crap is an understatement. Beyond that, in the last 34 minutes of this interminable, consistently illogical, and often downright awful series, it betrays literally everything that "Sex and the City" once proudly represented.

Talk show host Jimmy Kimmel has revealed that he obtained Italian citizenship as Donald Trump’s second presidential term is “so bad” that it may motivate him to leave the country.

Kimmel has long been a vocal critic of the president and recently appeared on his ex-girlfriend Sarah Silverman’s podcast, a conversation during which the two lamented the political state of the country. Silverman noted that many people, including celebrities, are seeking citizenship in other countries.

Silverman commented, “A lot of people I know are thinking about, where are they going to get citizenship?”

The White House has once again responded to criticism from The View, with host Joy Behar bearing the brunt of the new attack.

Trump’s FCC Chair, Brendan Carr, has recently warned that The View could be taken off the air.

After O’Donnell, a former host on The View, speculated that the show would be canceled, White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers responded, calling O’Donnell and Behar “irrelevant.”

“Rosie O’Donnell and ‘Joyless’ Behar are irrelevant losers with too much time on their hands, whining about a failing talk show while everyday Americans are working hard,” Rogers said. “Our country is better off with Rosie living abroad — and we can all hope ‘Joyless’ Behar will join her next!”

This time, however, Rosie O’Donnell is taking shots, too.

O’Donnell shared a lengthy statement on TikTok describing why she believed the 28-season talk show was next to be cancelled, citing “liberal bias” as a reason.

Hosted by Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers, the awards show aired on television for the first time ever on Tuesday night (August 5) on Bravo. It will then stream on Peacock starting Wednesday (August 6).

She was brought to life by Sarah Jessica Parker and has become a household name since Sex and the City debuted in 1998. An on-screen friend or sister to many women watching, Bradshaw either gave them the courage to live life freely or was an example of who not to be. Alongside other characters like Charlotte York (Kristin Davis), Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon), and Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), the romantic comedy drama became a classic, with two feature films and a sequel series, And Just Like That... After saying goodbye to Bradshaw once, viewers must gear up to repeat it as the sequel iscoming to an end.

According to Variety, the current third season of the HBO Max series will be the last. The news was revealed by showrunner Michael Patrick King, who is also the writer and director.

Andy Cohen became the latest big name to cameo on “And Just Like That” — which will wrap its third and final season on August 14 — appearing as an employee at Bergdorf Goodman named Daniel. Cohen joins many, many other celebrities that have appeared on the “Sex and the City” sequel series, including Patti LuPone, Rosie O’Donnell, Jenifer Lewis, Sam Smith, Drew Barrymore, Billy Dee Williams, Gloria Steinem, Tony Danza, Candice Bergen… the list goes on.

But fictional TV, Cohen explained on his podcast (via EW), isn’t his natural habitat. It took a while to get his take, which involved him assisting Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) with shoe shopping. “I think the line in the script was just like, ‘Oh hey, Carrie, I’ll be with you in a sec,'” he explained. As simple as that line may sound, for Cohen, “Shooting these shows… is very difficult.”

John Oliver’s “Last Week Tonight” returned on Sunday, just in time to join the conversation around President Donald Trump’s switch-up regarding the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files.

Despite Trump’s promise to reveal the convicted sex offender’s client list if he won re-election, the FBI and Department of Justice released a statement earlier this month saying the Epstein files actually do not exist. This has sparked a firestorm among Trump’s supporters and many attempts by the president to distract from the backlash.

Trump has also been facing renewed heat over his alleged connections to Epstein. Though he has claimed he was “not a fan” of the former financier, the Wall Street Journal recently published a story alleging that he wrote Epstein a lewd note for his 50th birthday, including a remark that the two have “certain things in common.” Trump asserted the story was false...

Back from holiday after a month away, John Oliver wasted no time in getting down to brass tacks, spending the beginning 10 minutes of Last Week Tonight addressing Donald Trump’s desperate attempts to redirect national conversation away from the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files.

There are lots of reasons HBO Max’s And Just Like That… can feel disorienting to watch. Most obviously, there’s the fact that it’s a sequel to Sex and the City, but it’s missing Samantha (Kim Cattrall), arguably its most fabulous practitioner of sex in the city. There’s the fact that the ladies we got to know when they were cutting a swath through Manhattan in their 40s look different, but maybe not as different as we would expect them to nearly 20 years after the Sex and the City series finale.

But there are also the cameos. Some people are at an echelon where they get to play themselves — people like Gloria Steinem, Drew Barrymore and Tony Danza. Other equally or even more famous people, however, might be cast to play characters: Rosie O’Donnell played thrillseeking nun Mary in the Season Three premiere, or Patti LuPone...

Former talk show host Ellen DeGeneres has confirmed her decision to leave the U.S. was due to the re-election of Donald Trump.

DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, bought a house in the Cotswolds, England, in 2024.

At the Everyman Theater in the town of Cheltenham in southern England on Sunday, DeGeneres told the audience she and her wife had initially bought a “part-time house” in the United Kingdom.

However, she explained, “We got here the day before the election and woke up to a lot of texts from our friends with crying emojis, and I was like, ‘[Trump] got in.’ And we’re like, ‘We’re staying here.’ I wish we were at a place where it was not scary for people to be who they are. I wish that we lived in a society where everybody could accept other people and their differences.”
