Frankie Muniz Promises Big Surprises in ‘Malcolm in the Middle’ Revival
Image
Frankie Muniz is once again stepping into the shoes of Malcolm, and he says the new revival will surprise fans who grew up with the show.

The idea of bringing Malcolm in the Middle back has been floating around for years. Bryan Cranston first mentioned in 2016 that he was interested in a reunion.

Later, in 2021, Muniz revealed on Steve-o’s podcast that Cranston had even started working on a script for a movie version. At that time, the whole cast was willing to come back, but one person wasn’t on board. Muniz didn’t name names then, but by late 2023 he explained on Mayim Bialik’s podcast that the...

Image
Former Jackass star Bam Margera is back in the spotlight with his inclusion in the new Tony Hawk video game, giving fans a chance to see him elsewhere after his absence in Jackass Forever. Margera and the Jackass team had a big falling out during the production of the sequel, and that seems to have forever put the kibosh on a possible return to the franchise.

Margera discussed the way things were left with Jackass during an interview with CinemaBlend to promote the new video game Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4. He was asked if there was any chance he could revisit Jackass or potentially resurrect his spinoff series, Viva La Bam, in some way. Margera said that the Jackass ship had sailed after what happened with the last movie.

"They have like new dudes, and what they did to me, making me go to treatment and paying for it, and...

“The Damage Has Been Done”: ‘Jackass’ Star, 45, Reveals Why He's Never Going Back to the Franchise
Image
Jackass’ Bam Margera has made up his mind about a potential reunion, and fans won’t be too thrilled. The former skateboarder became a popular culture icon thanks to the MTV shows that featured unforgettable stunt performances and pranks. It aired between October 2000 and August 2001, with reruns extending into 2002. Starring in this cringe comedy was a regular cast ensemble, including Margera, Johnny Knoxville, Chris Pontius, Ryan Dunn, Steve-o, Dave England, Ehren McGhehey, Jason "Wee Man" Acuña, and Preston Lacy.

In a recent CinemaBlend interview with Margera, the TV personality dished on the subject of returning to Jackass, which he was not entirely against; however, reuniting with his crew was out of the question. Explaining why, he said:

“They have like new dudes, and what they did to me, making me go to treatment and paying for it, and then not putting me in a movie, and, you know, I had...

'Can't Wait to Not See It': Bam Margera Blasts Jackass Franchise Possibly Moving Forward
Image
Bam Margera exited the Jackass franchise amid controversy during the production of Jackass Forever, the fourth feature film of the franchise. Now feeling that the best days of Jackass are long gone, Margera has suggested that the franchise is finished, meaning that a potential fifth movie should be called something else. Margera even has a particular title in mind.

Margera was one of the original stars of the Jackass TV show that spawned the franchise, which also included his hit spinoff series, Viva La Bam. In 2020, Margera was terminated from Jackass Forever, and he subsequently filed a lawsuit, arguing that he was wrongfully fired. The two sides later reached a settlement, but the details were not disclosed. While the future of the franchise isn't entirely clear, Margera shared a new video on Instagram sharing his thoughts on a possible fifth film happening.

Cops Knew About Brad Pitt’s Scripted Kidnap but Did Nothing Because of 1 Reason
Image
Brad Pitt was once kidnapped in public, and the police did not do anything despite getting several calls from concerned citizens. It happened in 2002 when he was simply lining up to buy at Pink’s Hot Dogs in Los Angeles. Everything went by so fast that the actor didn’t have time to run.

He was violently carried off and thrown inside a van. Some bystanders went to call the police while one guy tried to approach the vehicle to save Pitt. It was truly an intense encounter straight out of a movie scene, and that’s clearly what it was—a scripted skit.

Steve-o recalls the time they kidnapped Brad Pitt

It was the early 2000s, and prank shows were one of the most popular types of entertainment. What happened to Brad Pitt would be extremely controversial by today’s standards, but during those times, it was simply for fun.

After a century of non-recognition for their broken bones and unsightly bruises, movie stunt designers are finally getting their own Oscar. It’s about time stunt guys and gals get their flowers for death-defying feats. But forget Mission: Impossible Xiv and the next James Bond — many comedies are stuffed with outrageous acts of physical prowess, too.

Here are six of the most insane stunts from classic comedies…

1 Jackass 3D

The Guardian couldn’t get enough of this tour de force, featuring Steve O in a port-o-potty that’s shot into the air like a rocket. But wait — the flying toilet is tethered to the earth with bungee cords, meaning Steve O gets doused in doo-doo with each bounce. If the Academy had its act together in 2010, the Jackass team could have claimed its Oscar.

Robert Pattinson jokes he would star in a biopic of Jackass fav Steve-o
Image
Hi, I’m Bruce Wayne and welcome to Jackass! Robert Pattinson is such a big fan of both Jackass and one of its original stars, Steve-o (real name Stephen Glover), that he has perfected an accent that he joked would serve him well if there was ever a movie about the wild stuntman.

Speaking with Elle, Pattinson admitted, “I used to love, and I still do love, Jackass. I remember listening to an interview with Steve-o years ago and he was talking about how much they got paid for these dangerous stunts on the first season, and he said a hundred bucks. Like, you can die from doing this, and he was like, ‘Nah, I’ll just do it for a hundred. It’s fine.’ And there was something about that—actually being really brave and not ever acknowledging that it’s bravery…If they ever make the Steve-O biopic,...

How Galaxy Gas Took Over The Rap Internet In 2024
Image
On July 16, a restaurant in the Atlanta suburb of College Park, Georgia, posted a video on their Instagram account that was viewed over 38 million times before it was taken down. In the clip’s opening seconds, a young-looking customer in a black ski mask and blue hoodie twists the nozzle and inhales from a long, colorful canister of nitrous oxide. His voice sounds cartoonishly pitched down from the gas when he tells the person behind the camera, “My name Lil Tae, man.” In the weeks after the video was posted,...

UnitedHealthcare CEO Shooting Person of Interest Gave Steve-o’s Memoir 3 Out of 5 Stars on Goodreads
Image
The secret to good storytelling is, paradoxically, to “show, don’t tell.” Jackass star Steve-o could learn a thing or two from the “show” in front of the Midtown Manhattan Hilton Hotel this past Wednesday.

Earlier today, law enforcement officials announced that they had brought in a person of interest for questioning regarding last week’s shooting death of Brian Thompson, CEO of UnitedHealthcare, ahead of the company’s shareholder meeting in New York City. Police officers in Altoona, Pennsylvania arrested Luigi Mangione, 26, on gun charges this morning after an employee at a McDonald’s location where Mangione was eating notified the authorities about the presence of a man resembling the widely publicized security photos showing the shooter’s partially concealed face.

Upon apprehending Mangione, officers found in his possession a gun, a silencer, a fake ID and a handwritten manifesto lambasting health insurance companies for prioritizing profits at the expense of American lives.

Mickey 17 Star Robert Pattinson Took Inspiration From Ren & Stimpy for His Latest Wacky Voice
Image
Robert Pattinson has revealed the surprising inspiration behind his voice (technically voices) in the upcoming sci-fi black comedy Mickey 17. The Lighthouse and The Boy and the Heron star has shifted his image away from sparkly vampires and onto something else entirely...being a brilliant actor with a penchant for changing his voice. Footage from Mickey 17 has already teased the type of wacky vocals were going to get when the movie lands in theaters in January and now, speaking with Empire, Pattinson has revealed the beloved '90s Nickelodeon series that inspired his performance(s).

If you havent already guessed, Pattinson will play dual roles in Mickey 17, and he needed a way to differentiate the two identical characters. The actor revealed that his first instinct was to turn to Jackass duo Steve-o and Johnny Knoxville, but this was quickly vetoed by director Bong Joon-ho.

Robert Pattinson Wanted to Emulate ‘Jackass’ Star Steve-o’s Voice for ‘Mickey 17’
Image
Robert Pattinson may have been cast in Bong Joon Ho’s “Mickey 17” for the “crazy thing in his eyes,” according to director Bong, but it was Pattinson’s voice that soon went viral after the first trailer dropped.

Pattinson is now detailing the unexpected inspiration behind his unique vocal tone — and explaining why Bong shut down his original idea.

“My initial idea was to do impressions of Steve-o and Johnny Knoxville [from ‘Jackass’],” Pattinson told Empire . “I love Steve-o’s voice. We did it on the first read-through. And Bong was like, ‘That voice sounds like nails on a chalkboard.’ I was like, ‘Is that a good thing?’ He was like, ‘No.’”

Instead, Pattinson turned to animated series “Ren & Stimpy” for his voice as the titular Expendable Mickey 17 The Nickelodeon show “Ren & Stimpy” aired for five seasons starting in 1991. The series followed the misadventures of a psychotic chihuahua dog...

Robert Pattinson Based His Mickey 17 And 18 Voices On Ren & Stimpy
Image
For a good while now, Robert Pattinson has been in his weird era. From Good Time, to High Life, to The Lighthouse and beyond, he’s long relished playing oddballs on the big screen. Even The Batman saw him go full-emo. And now, in Bong Joon Ho’s Mickey 17, he gets to take that instinct for eccentricity even further. Playing multiple ‘reprints’ of sadsack Mickey – an ‘expendable’, who has a new body created every time the previous one dies – he gets to dial up the unpredictability, sharing the screen with… himself. Because, in a mishap, Mickey 18 is created before Mickey 17 is actually dead – and their co-existance proves to be a dangerous thing.

Switching between portraying Mickeys 17 and 18, Pattinson had to find a way to differentiate them – including giving them unique accents, inspired by an unlikely source. “It’s a little like Stimpy,” he tells Empire of Mickey 17’s vocal tones,...

We had a season last season where Ben Glenroy died, and who was Ben Glenroy’s stunt double is not an unfathomable question. And we have dopplegängers all throughout the season,” showrunner John Hoffman told TheWrap. “It just like like, ‘Oh, my God, that’s how we bring him back!’ All of that paralleling with Charles and Sazz felt sweet and right,...

Nthin' But A Good Time Director Breaks Down '80s Hair Metal Docuseries
Image
Without a doubt, the 1980s was the most delightfully dangerous era in music history, thanks to the rise of Hair Metal. Now, that legendary and infamous era in rock music gets the documentary treatment with Nthin' But A Good Time: The Uncensored Story of '80s Hair Metal, based on the book of the same name by Tom Beaujour and Richard Bienstock. This three-part series features dozens of stories about sex, drugs, fist fights, and everything else that made the Sunset Strip the ultimate destination for rock and roll enthusiasts back in the day.

Director Jeff Tremaine is no stranger to the freewheeling, "anything goes" nature of rock and roll culture, having cut his teeth as co-creator of Jackass, the legendary MTV series starring Johnny Knoxville, Steve-o, and other daredevils with presumably outrageous insurance premiums. More recently, he directed the feature film adaptation of The Dirt, based on the autobiography...

Image
Stephen Glover, the professional prankster and stunt performer who is better known as “Steve-o,” was planning to move forward with getting breast implants until a grocery store encounter with a transgender person changed his mind.

The Jackass star, 50, revealed in an interview with Consequence of Sound that he was shopping for groceries and realized the cashier was transgender.

“It struck me as a sign from the universe,” Glover said. “I didn’t have any dedicated meetings or conversations with trans people because I didn’t really feel like I had to.”

In noticing the cashier, the prankster said he “asked the transgender person if I could run something by them, and I had a conversation with this person that had a profound impact on me.”

In July, Steve-o had teased in a podcast...

Jackass' Steve-o Scrapped Breast Implant Op Stunt After Speaking to Transgender Cashier
Image
When it comes to stunts on Jackass, many people believe that there is nothing that would have stopped one of their crazy, often dangerous, usually stupid stunts from being carried out. However, it seems that one particular stunt was canceled thanks to star Steve-Os chance encounter with a transgender supermarket cashier on the day before he was set to undergo breast implant surgery in the name of comedy.

Speaking recently to Consequence of Sound, Steve-o revealed that everything was in place and planned to go ahead with the dubious procedure, but a sign from the universe gave the star reason to back out after speaking to the cashier. He said:

"On the day the scheduled surgery was supposed to happen, I was checking out at the supermarket, and the person ringing up my groceries was evidently transgender, and it struck me as a sign from the universe. So I asked...

Image
After a sobering conversation with a transgender person, Steve-o has decided not to go through with a planned stunt.

The Jackass alum admitted he “missed the mark” on his idea to temporarily get breast implants to perform a series of pranks for his upcoming Super Dummy Tour, following a chance encounter with a stranger on the day of his scheduled procedure.

“On the day that the scheduled surgery was supposed to happen, I was checking out at the supermarket,” he recalled to Consequence. “And the person ringing up my groceries was evidently transgender, and it struck me as a sign from the universe. Image
“Jackass” alum Steve-o revealed in a new interview with Consequence that he scrapped a plan to temporarily get breast implants for hidden camera sketches that he was planning to film for his upcoming live tour, “The Super Dummy Tour.” The idea was for Steve-o to make himself look like a woman and then trick groups of men on the street.

“I got within 10 hours of being in surgery for that,” Steve-o said. “The surgery was supposed to happen at eight in the morning. And 10:00 Pm the night before, I got a call that the anesthesiologist backed out of it, because he found out that it was me doing it as a stunt. And that kind of set off a chain reaction where the doctor didn’t want to be associated with it anymore, and they were having trouble finding another surgery center to to make it happen.”

All the Completely Unrelatable Advice Bill Maher Just Gave to Children
Image
Either because he’s run out of celebrity guests who are willing to spend more than an hour being repeatedly interrupted in a smoke-filled man cave, or his producers just straight up hate him, Bill Maher’s guest on this week’s episode of Club Random was… a whole bunch of children?

We’ve got to hand it to Maher, this may be the first episode of his YouTube show that actually lives up to its “random” branding.

Despite the fact that proud non-parent Maher has previously called all children “feral” and once told a Club Random guest, “I fucking hate kids,” this week’s episode is titled “Bill Maher Talks To Kids!” and it’s literally just 52 minutes of Maher chatting with minors — kind of like an episode of Kids Say the Darndest Things where Art Linkletter was perma-buzzed and mentally already in the backseat of a limo on...

Post Malone Actually Tattooed a Penis on Steve-o’s Face at Bonnaroo
Image
Earlier this month, Steve-o announced that he would celebrate his 50th birthday by having Post Malone tattoo a penis on his face at Bonnaroo. Well, it indeed happened.

A video posted by TMZ shows the two meeting up ahead of Posty’s headlining performance on Friday night and turning the backstage area into a makeshift tattoo studio. The tattoo was designed earlier this month, but Post had the honors of wielding the needle himself, starting “with the balls,” at Steve-o’s suggestion.

The end product looks like… well, a tattoo of a penis on someone’s face. It’s a bold statement, even for Steve-o, who explained that the reason he got was to “find out how long I last before I tap out and get it lasered off.” He plans to keep it on through at least through his 2024 tour, which kicks off this Friday in Huntsville, Alabama, and...

Post Malone to Tattoo a Penis on Steve-o’s Face at Bonnaroo
Image
Steve-o is about to hit the big five-oh. On June 13th, the Jackass star will celebrate his 50th birthday, and one day later, on June 14th, he’ll mark the occasion by having Post Malone tattoo a penis on his face at Bonnaroo 2024.

Steve-o has confirmed this arrangement, telling Page Six, “I’m getting my first face tattoo. Post Malone is going to tattoo a dick on my forehead. That’s the plan.”

Get Bonnaroo 2024 Tickets Here

Continuing, Steve-o said the tattooing will occur at Bonnaroo 2024, on the same day Post is set to headline the festival, but further details are unavailable at this time, making it unclear if the public will get to witness the event or not. Joking, Steve-o said, “[Post] asked, ‘Is it going to be a chode?’ And I don’t even know what a chode is!” But he also clarified that the phallic tat has “been designed” already.
