Jack Turner, plucked from his free law clinic and brought to the law firm of Lyons and Lacrosse after the mysterious death of his mentor, Dan Barrington. Jack becomes increasingly convinced his mentor was murdered.

Guests are introduced to Lonnie, an Assistant Director who casts guests for scenes that he needs to be shot in the soundstages. Guest are then taken into a screening room where Frank Kincaid describes his particular brand of film-making. Frank Kincaid then pleas to visitors to help him complete his film. After a big speech, guests are ushered into another soundstage where the scenes are shot. Audience members that were pre-picked to be involved in the scenes are trotted out to perform, and the audience becomes part of the action as well. Frank Kincaid appears on a screen and invites guests to take part in his big finale that is being shot next door.

"QT" is based on the discovery of archival surveillance footage of a super cool hip cop (a la Steve McQueen in 'Bullitt') set in 1970s LA.

The matriarch, of a once loving family, is dying of Alzheimer's. The emotional roller coaster ride caused by her illness to effect her family in unexpected ways.
