The story of Bastek, a young boy from a housing estate, growing up without parents. Bastek's passion is painting graffiti, while he earns money by dealing in drugs which he sells for his older brother - dealer. Bastek wants to change his life and wants to study at the Academy of Fine Arts to become a true artist. When he is caught red-handed, he unexpectedly gets an offer from the investigating policeman that he cannot refuse: if he submerges his brother's testimony, he will receive something that will allow him to enter his dream studies without any problems. Bastek faces a life dilemma, but brought up in a world where no one has shown him a clear line between good and evil, he is not aware of the moral consequences of his choices. A recently eviscerated European bison is found in the forests of Masuria, apparently trapped by knowledgeable poachers. Forensic technician Dr. Viktoria Wex, who is actually on the way to the train station with the village policeman Leon Pawlak, makes another terrible discovery during the stopover at the place of discovery: the body of the shot ranger Glinski, which is located near the carcass. For Viktoria this is a crime scene that grabs her forensic ambition. What happened here about two hours ago? She decides: your return to Berlin can wait.
