A young man is searching for the war to free his country and establish freedom. Instead of war he finds the love of his life.

Mickey, an illegal Albanian who used to live in London, is a part time Elvis Presley impersonator. He gets a job entertaining British peacekeeping troops in the 1999 Balkans wars. When backstage problems ensue, Mickey (dressed as Elvis Presley) flees - straight into the war zone. He meets and is captured by a group of children refugees caught up in the merciless war.

A film tells the story of a young couple in post-communist Albania, at the time when many Albanians left the country in search for a better life abroad. The protagonist is Nik, who lives in the capital of Albania, Tirana, along with his mother and father. He is in love with a beautiful girl named Klara, who wants to move to Paris to be a model. Nik makes his living with an old truck that belonged to his father, who is now sick, and seemingly dying. Amidst the criticisms of his mother, the confusion and desperation covering the country, and the desire of his girlfriend to leave, Nik is still unsure whether he wants to leave. The film explores the way Nik handles the events of his life.

Adaptation of Albanian novel, the narrative, set during the Soviet Regime in the 70's, focuses on the exploits of Comrade Zylo, a bureaucrat at the Ministry of Culture. To impress his superiors and party members ,Comrade Zylo manipulates Demka, an aspiring frustrated author to write on his behalf phenomenal speeches and reports based on Zylo's wildly improbable theories of what is Proletariat Culture, and how to bring Culture to the Proletariat.

Tulla, who has three children and wife, seeks to dissipate not exist, while there are scores of Crisis; which it has grown as Mafia when he killed his father. The crisis does not choose the path of crime, nor become murderous revenge for the old score.

Rejected by their family, school and society, three teenagers, wind up on the mean streets of Tirana - defenseless.
