The story of the formation of Soviet intelligence, told through the prism of the fate of its youngest chief - 31-year-old Pavel Mikhailovich Fitin.

Aleksey Turbin, a participant in an experimental secret program of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, enters into a deadly fight with a gang that is terrorizing the city. In addition to his official duty, he is driven by blood feud - he is simply obliged to find and punish the murderers of his parents. Every day, Turbin works undercover - as a simple taxi driver goes on duty and keeps order on the streets in a specially equipped "police taxi", while conducting a personal investigation.

The events take place in 1960s in USSR. The main character is Olga Migunova, the student of the most famous psychic in the country - Wolf Messing, who chose her himself from an audience when she was 16 years old, having noticed her psychic abilities. Olga, who thought she had always seen more than everybody else, and that her talent was inherited from her healer grandmother, decides to go to Moscow to be taught everything about being psychic.

Zoya, Natasha and Veronica were never supposed to meet. 16-year old Zoya was in Perm training hard to become a professional singer. In Volgograd, 17-year old Natasha was an A+ student about to get into a med school. And an orphan from Kostroma, 17-year old Veronika, was just one step away from finding a real family. Their lives were going in completely different paths until tragic accidents led them to end up in the same prison. What more does fate have in store for them? Especially in the light of them becoming friends and deciding to escape prison all together in order to start everything from scratch.
