After the death of his father, a New Yorker returns to Cape Cod to prepare his childhood home for sale. With his father's boyfriend still living there, they butt heads and negotiate how to remember the man they both loved.

Paul, a preoccupied 15-year old, tries to be helpful by cooking the family dinner, but nearly blows the place up instead. When his hippie parents tell him to see a shrink Paul goes into a tailspin of self-doubt, but pulls out of it, his self-confidence restored, thanks to a burglar, a pot plant, and quick thinking.

Their wall-building expertise has come to the attention of the Department of Homeland Security and they've asked the Boccamazzo's to bid on the U.S./Mexico border wall project. While flattered, Bobby and Todd question the practicality of building a 2000-mile, 30-foot high wall in the Southwest desert. They also think it's just a pretty friggin' stupid idea.
