Known as "Sub" around her 1970's suburban town, Sophia Brief begins to learn that her nickname and distant relationship with her alcoholic mother may be more intertwined than she ever thought.

Twentyfiveish follows five characters who grew up together but parted ways after high school. Rosie, Griffin, Tucker and Stella are now all at very different points in their lives and facing their own challenges. Now approaching twenty-five, the group meets up for a long weekend at a beach house.
