What is Flipper Cloud?

Flipper Cloud is a hosted service for managing feature flags across your team and infrastructure. It builds on top of the open source Flipper gem and adds collaboration, audit history, permissions, and integrations.

Your Availability is Not Tied to Ours

A common concern with hosted feature flag services is availability — if the service goes down, does your app go down too? With Flipper Cloud, the answer is no.

Your application syncs feature flag data from Flipper Cloud and stores it locally. All feature flag checks are evaluated against this local data with no external requests. If Flipper Cloud is unreachable, your app continues working with the last known feature state. There is zero latency impact and zero availability risk.

Organizations

Organizations group your projects for billing and team management. You can belong to one or more organizations. Each organization has its own members, projects, and subscription.

Organization members are automatically granted access to all projects in the organization.

Projects

Projects let you manage feature flags for different applications or services under one organization. Each project has its own environments and features.

All organization members have access to every project. You can also add project collaborators — people outside your organization who need access to a specific project.
