- Synopsis
- Miniseries. 9 episodes. Series that chronicles the relationship between Carolyn Bessette and John John Kennedy, one of the most iconic couples of the late twentieth century. It was a love story that captured the attention of an entire nation: John Fitzgerald Kennedy Jr. (Paul Anthony Kelly), son of legendary President JFK, was the visible head of the family most resembling American royalty. The country watched him grow from a child to the most desirable bachelor and media phenomenon. Carolyn Bessette (Sarah Pidgeon) was a star in her own right: extremely independent and with an unmistakable style, she went from sales clerk to executive at Calvin Klein, becoming a confidante of its eponymous founder. The connection between John and Carolyn was immediate, electric and undeniable. As their love story unfolded before the eyes of the nation, the intense fame and media attention that accompanied them threatened to tear them apart.
