My new CD, Biker Stories 2, was released yesterday.
I am originally from Cleveland, OH. I was a musician, photographer, and writer during high school and went to a school that was famous in the region for the quality of its music programs. I got married at 17 and entered the Air Force a few months after graduation. I served 5.5 years as an enlisted man, serving first as a medic and then as a military photojournalist. I was selected for a program to become an officer and left the Air Force for two years, attending college at Troy State University, Ala., on a full scholarship. I graduated college and reentered the Air Force, going to flight training in California. After training, I flew on a B-52 bomber crew for four years. I then transitioned into public relations and served the rest of my military career in that field. My last assignment before retiring as a major with 20 years of service in 1992 was as a spokesman to international and national news media. I worked another 20 years as a civilian public relations specialist for the federal government. While living and working in Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia, I played in several gigging bands including Point Blank, OTR, Riptide, Fastrac, and Four of a Kind. Although I am no longer in a gigging band, I get together weekly and jam with musician friends from the Richmond, Va., area. This is my first time writing and recording original music, which was accomplished with some of my local musician friends.
