Zheng Peng, known professionally as Zi Yu, was born on July 6, 2002, in Lianyungang, Jiangsu, China. He is a singer who gained prominence through his participation in various talent shows and his role as an actor. Zi Yu's music career began with his appearance on the reality show 少年之名 (Youth With You) in 2020, where he was part of the training group Flower Half Summer. Although he did not debut from this show, he continued to participate in other talent competitions such as 青春有你3 (Idol Producer Season 3). In June 2021, Zi Yu officially debuted as a member of the boy band Guanghe Boys. His acting career took off with his role in the television drama 逆爱 (Revenged Love) in 2025, where he portrayed Wu Suowei, significantly boosting his popularity. Throughout his career, Zi Yu has released several singles including "你过得还好吗" (How Are You Doing)" (2024), "趁黎明来临前说爱吧" and "雨后晴天" (Clear Sky After Rain)" in 2025.
