Global Music Award-winning singer-songwriter Anna Beatriz was born in São Paulo, the industrial capital of Brazil, and shortly after moved to Santos. Anna followed her musical dreams and aspirations to Los Angeles and she started at Musicians Institute in Hollywood where she focused on songwriting and performance and won the “Outstanding Vocalist Award.” Before graduating in 2012, Anna debuted her second music project, Beautiful Ride, an EP with smooth jazz and pop influences that showcases her versatile voice. Its lead single, "Beautiful Ride," received a Global Music Award. In 2014, she was selected to showcase at NACA (National Association for Campus Activities). As a result, she toured colleges on the West Coast for the next year. During this time, Anna met and collaborated with Grammy and Academy Award Winning producer and musician AR Rahman (“Slumdog Millionaire”) creating music for Pelé: The Birth of a Legend (Imagine Entertainment), a film about one of the biggest soccer players who also hails from her hometown of Santos, Brazil. Their feature song, Ginga (2016), with Anna as lead vocalist, has nearly 3 million views on YouTube and was eligible for “Best Song of the Year” in the Oscars 2017.
Anna is working on a new project showcasing her sophisticated musicality which balances her smooth and earthy voice, along with infectious songwriting highlighting her Brazilian roots.
