Aurore Voilqué took up the violin at the age of 4 and learned with the Suzuki method. She created the Aurore Quartet in 2003 and self-produced her first album. She immersed herself in the gypsy jazz scene. Very quickly, she joined Thomas Dutronc.
It is scheduled in the biggest festivals (Jazz à Vienne, Marciac, Vauvert, La Baule, Jazz en Baie, Jazz Nîmes Métropole, 24h du Swing, Festival Django l'H in Barcelona, Djangofestivalen in Oslo, Budapest Django Festival, Festival Django Reinhardt in Fontainebleau), and performs in famous jazz clubs (Duc des Lombards, Sunset, Petit Journal Montparnasse, Méridien, Jazz Café Montparnasse).
She works and plays in the USA with Samson Schmitt and accordionist Ludovic Beier. Samy Daussat and Noé Reinhardt.
In 2013, Djangolized was released, a tribute album to Django recorded with organist Rhoda Scott.
Selected Génération Spedidam in 2015, she produced an electro project entitled Mayfair (2018). She began an artistic collaboration with Angelo Debarre and brought together the rhythm player M. Chatelain (rhythm guitar) and C. Dupont (double bass). They recorded the album Valse bohémienne (2018) and will also play in Seattle in 2019 at the Django NorthWest Festival.
In 2020, she produced the album Un Soir d’été on which she invited T. Dutronc and Sanseverino.
In May 2023, Aurore is in New York alongside S. Wrembel at the Django à Gogo festival. Then Australia in June, with Paris Combo for a tribute to the creator of the group Belle Du Berry who recently passed away.
