Germany based producer Michael Gutsch first embarked on his musical journey in 1995, founding the project EXIT LUNAR in collaboration with his friend Marco. Their debut single, "One World," released in 1996 under the renowned Frankfurt Beat Label, quickly became popular on the dancefloors through its catchy melodic trance sound. After several releases, the duo parted with Frankfurt Beat and rebranded as LUNAR EXIT. Releases on several trance labels followed, including the UK-based Lush Records. At this time they played live at Festivals like the famous BigWarp.
In 1998, Marco departed from the project, prompting Michael to steer the project in a new direction under the name SILENT EARTH. Drawing inspiration from progressive house, psytrance, and Ibiza chillout, Michael crafted a sound that blended melodic and deep trance with jazzy ambient. His solo album, "Traveling at the Speed of Light," released on Nephilim Records, received acclaim from respected publications such as Mushroom Magazine and Raveline. The album's follow-up, "Life is Shining," featured the jazz-infused track "Love is D," which gained widespread recognition and was included in numerous compilations and chillout sets.
After leaving the music industry in 2002 to focus on other aspects of life, Michael rediscovered his passion for music production in 2023. His new releases showcase his signature melodic, emotional style, now infused with melodic techno and house elements.
