I read this a long time ago. I just reread it for a Book Club. I remember being enthralled by this book and rooting for Wilson, the protagonist. A bleak, dystopian world of the future. Now all I get out of it is a bloated version of the old Soviet Union or perhaps modern day North Korea. I’m going out on a limb and saying that I do not think this will happen, ever. I found it to be a bit boring, rather than clever. I much prefer: ‘For legs good, two legs bad!”
