Read 2 times. Last read April 17, 2015 to April 25, 2015.

Managed to finish this :) Second time studying, but first successful read-through.
I enjoyed it more this time around, mainly because I actually read the last quarter or so of the book, which was the most enjoyable in my opinion.

Sean Gibson Mildly jealous that I can't reread this for the first time...then again, I feel that way about a lot of books.

Keep your garlic necklace close, Catriona... ;))

Michał Hołda Historian is good novel about this topic... https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

LaLa Cool. *o*

Carla_jb I've finished that book some days ago, and I am a little disappointed... I already knew the movie, and I think that the reincarnation part is missing in the book...
But it was a cool reading :P

message 11: by Helce (new) - added it

Helce Damn, I should reread this one as well. :) I remember enjoying the format it was written in.

message 12: by Stuart (new)

Stuart Vernon It took me 4 days to read it, I enjoyed it to a degree but it is over hyped

message 13: by Sean (new) - rated it 5 stars

Sean Gibson Ah, but remember the context...stories like this were by no means commonplace before Stoker, and think of the endless litany of tales that never come to be if he doesn't write this. Granted, I'm biased, because I love this book, but if there's been overhyping involved, it's just because the book has been siring stories, Drac-like, for more than a century...

message 14: by Ashley (new) - rated it 2 stars

Ashley P. I didn't HATE this book but I also didn't love it. In my opinion The Historian is probably the best Dracula book.

Sean Gibson Ashley wrote: "I didn't HATE this book but I also didn't love it. In my opinion The Historian is probably the best Dracula book."

Might have to agree to disagree, Ashley...The Historian is good, but Dracula is DRACULA. ;)

message 16: by Grace (new) - rated it 4 stars

Grace This is the only book I have never finished. I'm going to try and read it at some point this year but I'm not too excited about it.

message 17: by Katie (new)

Katie I love this book! It makes it cooler for me that I live not far from where its set, so everytime I go there I feel uneasy and on edge!

Love the story, and it was my first time reading an epistolary novel. I really liked it and I'm looking forward to reading more of them.

message 30: by Anuj (new)

Anuj Sharma Is this book good for a 15 years old girl, in the sense of adult content?

message 31: by Alex (new) - added it

Alex Stegen I agree that the best part of the book is defiantly towards the end. At some points in the book it takes forever to build up so it does get boring at times. But the end with Dracula is really worth the wait and my favorite part of the book.

message 32: by Royce (new) - rated it 4 stars

Royce Tamayo I agree with you the best and my favorite part of the book was the end for me also at least and others can say the same.
