Finally a creation story I can get behind! Lilith's life is told with lovely prose and unwavering truth and honesty. The patriarchy is inherently destructive. When men subjugate and bully and enslave women they lose touch with the natural world—they revel in unchecked violence—they lead poorly with greed and strife and narrow-minded stupidity. This book beautifully illustrates the issues women have struggled with for uncounted generations. Today the patriarchy is, predictably, destroying our country and our world. I hope, as in Lilith's beautifully told story, it is their extinction burst. Every woman should read and savor this book—as should every man who allies himself with the energy of creation rather than destruction.
