Wow. Just… wow



All praise to Garrett Leigh, deity of the mc/mmm writing gods. You have outdone yourself with this one.

Is it perfect? No. I found ONE singular flaw in the book. (view spoiler)[At the end Alexei keeps trying to call Cam instead of Saint to alert them to the attack. Yes, Saint kinda knew to expect it, but even Alexei wonders aloud later why he didn't just call Saint who would have actually answered, instead of Cam. He should have called Saint. Alexei isn't that dumb. It's a writing mistake made on purpose I think to create more drama and anticipation of what's to come? (hide spoiler)]

But other than that, this book was perfection.

That Russian accent is bring you to your knees perfection.
Their dynamic is the most perfect, most natural flow of a throuple that I've ever seen. I'm not big on MC books, or on mmm but holy freaking crap Garret blew this out of the water. The writing honestly is next level. These characters are real. You can't convince me otherwise. I was in their heads. I was a fly on the wall of their thoughts and lives. I could damn near taste those cigarettes.

Is the book perfect? no. Am I still giving it five stars? yes. Because some books will sit in your soul and just kind of take root and stay there. This is one of those. I didn't even know I needed this shit in my life. I'm a bit worried about book two. While I *do* want to see our boys get more of a solid HEA (btw book 1 is an HFN but you realize it's not going to last when you see (view spoiler)[book two starts with a quote about one of them asking them to kill the other because one of the three is "dead." If I had to guess it's Saint asking Alexei to kill him because Cam is "dead" (hide spoiler)]). And I do want to see how their dynamic blossoms and see Saint and Cam finally explore their intense love and devotion for one another, but I'm terrified that things are going to get worse before they get better. And I'm not sure that even Alexei's reputation is going to be enough to save them this go round.

🏳‍🌈 True acceptance. The way everyone just accepts the other's "shortcomings" caused me heart palpitations in the best way.
