Nora is a ruthlessly ambitious literary agent who identifies more with the villains in romance movies than the heroines. Swayed by her sister to spend the summer together in a picturesque small-town, the last person she expects to run into is Charlie—the surly editor she’s avoided ever since their disastrous first meeting. Modern and fresh, this is a must-read for rom-com lovers.

User404 I love books

Melissa Cepeda Kinda confused how her sister with two young kids was able to leave her kids behind? Most women don't have that luxury. that is the fictional part for me. other than that, it was cute so far. I am halfway through

Victoria Melissa, it was mentioned that Brendan’s parents helped take care of the kids. :)

Rebecca RebeccasFamAndMore @Melissa, you would be surprised by how many husbands encourage either many little getaways or one big one when kids are that age

Jasmine @melissa I think they call it a "mommymoon" where you take a vacay from your kids before you add another one to the mix! Also, idk about you but my mom would be thrilled to get the chance to have her grandkids for a few weeks in the summer

Jay Also, not explicitly stated, but Brendan was quitting his old job and maybe he quit earlier to help with the kids?

Nicole Bibliolau19 I’m adoring this one so, so much!

Tara — on semi-hiatus for health reasons; will check in when possible. Great review, Taylor going to add TBRL great for my upcoming summer vacation. 🌸
