This one was quite a bit steamier than the others. Definitely has some erotica in it. The characters were very good. Would have liked more actual suspense and action. I didn't like what happened to Grant. That shocked me. Camden and Aspen were good mc's though. On to the next. ...more
This was a fun read. I really liked Haven and her animal a lot. Tate was pretty dang good too. The amount of spice was just a touch Fun Read

This was a fun read. I really liked Haven and her animal a lot. Tate was pretty dang good too. The amount of spice was just a touch too much but for the most part well done. Loved the action. Could have used maybe a tad bit more details on investigating. Looking forward to continuing this series. ...more

This was my least favorite of the series so far. First I had a problem with Meagan the female mc. Second was the pace of the story. It was definitely slow paced and rambling in a lot of areas. Third is it was really long but didn't really get us all that far where The Way is concerned. I also didn't like how the area concerning Logan's friends and what The Way did way left. I ended up okay with Meagan. There are a TON of twist. The Steamy scenes are decent. Not as good as the first two but decent. I ended up rounding up to a 4 from 3.75 Stars. ...more
I really didn't expect this to be better than the first book in this series. Boy was I surprised!! I loved tExceeds All My Expectations!
5 Full Stars.
I really didn't expect this to be better than the first book in this series. Boy was I surprised!! I loved the first book. But this one blew the first one out of the water! It starts off with intrigue. Brook is Very Intriguing! Then just keeps going from there. There is mystery, crime, intrigue, humor and sex scenes so hot YOU will MELT! And Joey! Omg! Joey will make you crazy at first trying to figure him out! But once you do he will melt your heart. Then there is Waldo and Huck. Good Lord Have Mercy! I'm over the moon with this series. I can't wait to read Johnny's story. Cause the way this ended I swear I'm dying to get to the bottom of The Way and see how everything works out! ...more

3.5 Stars
While I liked the story for the most part and the characters, I didn't like much of this was in the past. At least the first 50% was from about 20 years in the past moving up to the present. The last 50% had areas of repetitiveness that got to me. It's a good story. Has some interesting sex scenes. But honestly I knew who the traitor was by the 50% mark. Quite frankly I was surprised Massimo didn't. ...more
I wish it hadn't been so overly wordy. I wish we had been given more action and information 'Outside' the bedroom. Sierra Simone writes sI Wish
4 Stars
I wish it hadn't been so overly wordy. I wish we had been given more action and information 'Outside' the bedroom. Sierra Simone writes some of the best erotism I've ever read. But she used it too much in this one without giving us enough substance. I will read the next and final book in this trilogy. And this one was mostly well written. But!! I feel like I've been led astray or something. Both this and the first book were LONG but gave us very little. So while I really liked most of this, there are things I hate. ...more
Says it's 160 pages. It's not. It's about 70+ pages. I know because I finished it in less than 7 hours. And these days my reading speed is REALLY low.
Anyway, I liked this one. Especially for a short. It had some surprising elements to it that I definitely didn't expect considering how this series has been so far. I've been close to quitting this series. But I have one more on my shelf and after reading this one I'm wondering if some things are changing. But I seriously doubt it.
I do wish the 'Convivence' of how Eve solves things and always comes out a hero would switch up a bit. Would be nice if someone else, like Peabody came out the hero. This is the problem with a series that always has just ONE main character and that is ALWAYS Eve. Everyone else is just side characters and that includes Roarke. No body is allowed to outshine her....more
Loved it! Best of her novellas I have read so far.
More Later.......
Here we are introduced to Quinn for the next novel in this series. Raphael and the other Lords have had enough of the Europeans. They decide to take action. And holy crap! Do they ever take action!
They come up with a 'Fantastic' plan and put it into action. Not only do they take their enemies by surprise and shock the Vampire world, but they 'Kick Butt into Next Year'! Awesome suspense and Action!
Oh, and yes, the adult scenes are steamy and hot.
This one goes to the top of my favorites in her novellas!

Not a single typo/editing error. No repetition. No ramA Reason To Believe by Diana Copland Genres: Adult, Crime, Mystery, M/M Romance, Suspense. 5 Stars
Not a single typo/editing error. No repetition. No rambling. No need of the mighty 'Blue' pencil.
This story is incredible. It is a fantastic murder mystery with paranormal aspects that are well portrayed.
Matthew has suffered a devastating loss that 'outed' him to his precinct and exposed him to the bigotry of his captain. He has closed himself off and built a wall around his heart. But, this case brings Kiernan Fitzpatrick and the ghost of a child into his life. Together they have a profound effect on Matthew.
Matthew and Kiernan are both easy to visualize & connect to. Kiernan has a quirkiness to his personality that on occasion makes you laugh out loud. Considering the gravity of the crime, it is a welcome respite. Matthew is a seasoned detective. He grudgingly puts aside his preconceived beliefs to get to the truth. Not an easy task for anyone, especially when it comes to ghost!
All the characters, the world build and the investigation of the murder are superbly written. The suspense and romance flow perfectly. This story will keep you riveted to the very end.
This is not a part of a series. I checked. I wish it was. I can easily see Kiernan getting into mischief and all the cases he and Matthew could work together on.
A great mystery. The author's talent truly shows. I am so going to read more from this author in the future.
This book was recommended to me by my Public Digital Library.

There is nothing better than reading a Trisha Wolfe story when you really want something dark and twisted and full of suspense. She is a master of making us connect with the darkness in ourselves. And using that to connect and love her dark twisted characters.
While this wasn't my absolute favorite of her works I still VERY MUCH enjoyed the crazy ride she took us on. You just never knew where she was taking us. Kept us guessing on who was involved and what crazy thing would happen next. A lot of times when I read a trilogy I find myself saying 'This could have been and would have been better as two books '. Or sometimes better as one. But that is NOT the case for this trilogy nor any of the series I've read by this author. Every book is definitely necessary and has its own flavors, elements and revelations necessary to the story and characters.
This is the end of this series but I am looking forward to reading her next endeavor into The Dark & Twisted...more
It was decent but also a lot like all the others. Formulaic in many ways. Especially with the 'You know your on their list' and the way she sets them up using herself as bait once again.

Part of TPAM BR of this series
This was my favorite novella so far in this series. I had a blast reading it. Pia, Dragos and Peanut were fantastic. Peanut had me laughing. Pia and Dragos had some very hot and intimate scenes. The small mystery was so much fun to read about.
I actually enjoyed the crazy obsession these two had with each other. Their anger and suspicion for each other was OTT so when it turned sexual I wasn't surprised. Once this story got going it was nonstop. Kept me completely invested. Action. Suspense. Mystery. Hot steamy sex scenes. Crazy scary fight scenes. Heartbreak and humor.
I ended up loving it. And loving Quentin and Aryal's mating dance....more
