He has no room in his life for a lover but fate has different ideas when stopping to help a stranger at the side of a road leads to sexy times and a new friend
Spencer is an actor in town for the Wolf's Landing filming. he's rich and famous and going through a rough divorce where his husband left him for a woman pregnant with his child, oh the scandal. So he's not really sure if he's ready to start anything with anyone but he just can't seem to resist this sexy biker.
Maybe if Nash sees that his family really doesn't need him as much as he seems to need them and start living for himself and Spencer realizes that his old relationship was never as real as this one is they can finally have the kind of love they both deserve.
I've been loving this series so far and this one was no exception, of course Z.A. Maxfield is a favorite author of mine so I already knew I'd like it going in. Hell on wheels is a great addition to the Bluewater Bay series I stayed up 'till 4 reading it and if I was a zombie the next day so what.
Also I have a very strong desire to watch Wolf's Landing so someone should get on that.

Another Alice Winters win. This new series is set in a world with vampires and werewolves, and as they classically do, they have difficulties getting Another Alice Winters win. This new series is set in a world with vampires and werewolves, and as they classically do, they have difficulties getting along, especially since this new big-shot vampire moved in and declared the land his. One day, the werewolf son of the alpha gets attacked by outsider vamps and nearly dies; only the intervention of Casimir, the master vampire, saves him. After recovering but realizing he needs to keep the vampire Casimir close, Julian, the werewolf, comes out with a brilliant plan to fake date Casimir and, in the process, bring the vampires and werewolves closer when they see that they can get along. Hilarity ensues as Casimir has no interest in dating or fake dating but does it anyway as the were is entertaining and can paint his dog.
There is plenty of action as they work together to find out what is going on with strange deaths and rogue vampires, loads of humor as in any book by Alice, and of course, the trademark pet, an adorable poodle in this case, and the most beautiful creature of all according to Casimir....more

I love this whole series, and it never fails to bring me joy. In this newest addition, we get some fun new characters, plus my boys from past books are back to help out Leland with his latest shenanigans. This time, it’s trying to prove the innocence of the older brother of a kid Leland met at a gas station while playing mind games with good ole Lucas. There are plenty of gun-slinging and boats sinking and chasing each other in 4-wheeler adventures. I can’t see what the boys do next. ...more

I remember when Simon’s book came out I was like dinosaur shifters? Heck yea! And now here we are with daddy Rex finally finding happiness after all this time of grieving. Henry is the sweetest thing and I’m glad he managed to get through that thick wall Montana keeps up. There’s plenty of action and goofy Dino friends and the ending is just perfect. Though this is the last book I hope we will see more of these guys in the future. ...more
As with any Alice Winter book, I went in expecting to be entertained, and by god, I sure was. This is such a fun read with knights taking down shadow As with any Alice Winter book, I went in expecting to be entertained, and by god, I sure was. This is such a fun read with knights taking down shadow demons but in modern times. We start off with a knight named Bastian defeating and capturing a demon just for the said demon to escape, but instead of killing the knight, he sorta adopts him as his new favorite human who will aid him In his quest to take down all the demon hunters known as Castors. Things get a bit derailed when the two actually start to like each other as they realize that, in a way, they are both alone, and being together feels so oddly right. There is, of course, the signature wacky pet in this one, and I'm not spoiling anything, but it's definitely the oddest yet. I can see this is the start of a new series with a lot of promise, and I am excited to see what comes next. This book left a lot of open questions I'm itching to get answered. ...more

Things start up with Finn stumThis is the absolute most stressful book in this series so far. Alice tortured my boys entirely too much in my opinion.
Things start up with Finn stumbling into danger as per usual and bringing up some stuff that Marcus would rather forget like the one person Marcus ever turned whom he wishes he never had. Some new baddies are introduced including a very interesting one from Marcus’ past a very interesting vampire who likes to behead and drink from other vampires, real creep.
One of these new bad guys is in the background trying to get at Watson’s research on how to make true vampires and poor Finn is in the middle of things once again resulting in the usual threats, bodily harm, and kidnapping.
Apart from the stress, there’s the usual humor, like the ridiculousness of Finn’s family and Claude’s antics (view spoiler)[. Finn is still not a vampire in the end. When will that happen? (hide spoiler)] and I am left wanting more. Can’t wait to see what more is in store for these guys. ...more

Also a bit different because it begins before the tear happened and goes through how the monsters reacted when it did happen.
Starting, we have Jugs, a sweet boy from the 80s who loves to wear sexy little shorts, and due to an unlucky/very lucky tumble, he ends up in the monster world and right in the guestroom of one very handsome blue-skinned monarch.
Lor has been the Moric(king) for only a few years, and so far, he hasn’t been all that great at it, letting the council make all the decisions. Still, when, one day, he and his brother discover a weird speck in their guestroom, he decides to keep it to himself, and as that speck grows into a glowing portal to another world, he becomes entranced by it, then one day, a strange creature falls out of it.
After the initial freakout Jugs and Lor become fascinated by each other despite the language barrier. After a while they grow really close only for things to happen that rips them apart. There is much stress and heartache because Lily is evil. Happy ending though.
The side characters are fantastic especially one blue brother that we will be seeing more of in the next book that I need right now. There are a few others that I wonder if we’ll be seeing again too....more

Declan walked away from a life of monster hunting for a steady, quiet life, only to be dragged back in by a meddling old boss who didn’t want to let him go. Now in the middle of the monster hunter compound is a literal monster hiding behind a human mask, but Declan sees through him immediately and makes it his mission to find out what this monster is up to and then kill it. Yes, Lake is a monster, a monster with ulterior plans in working with the humans, but he’s starting to think that maybe it isn’t worth it; these humans kind of suck, except this sexy new broody bear, walking into the compound and despite being a monster that the monster hunter hates, Lake is determined to seduce.
As with anything, Alice Winter’s this book is hilarious and action-packed. I love everyone, especially Sir Reginald, who, despite being dragged everywhere without proper consent, remains steadfast and majestic. I already know so much more is in store for these guys, and I’m excited to join them in their next adventure. ...more

I could see he was struggling, and I’m so glad he has someone to love him as he deserves.
Steffan is a paranoid conspiracy theorist, and it turns out there’s a reason he is the way that he is, and it’s not pretty. However, it ultimately led him to Will, Will, who’s ever patient and loving and will stand by Steffan’s side forever, no matter what, even when Steffan’s anxiety forces their relationship to remain a secret.
I love these two together, and even though theirs is an established relationship, they grow even closer throughout this book as Steffan battles his paranoia. At the same time, they all work to discover who is kicking up negative community sentiment, which leads to a reveal of an interesting new character linked to Steffan’s past. These dragon’s stories aren’t over yet, and I can’t wait to hear more. ...more
