CRUCIBLE OF LIES has been in the works for a loooong time. Years. In fact, the manuscript was pretty much finalised two years ago. For various reasons I won't go into I am now able to bring it in out of the cold and publish it.
This book heralds a return to my Sorcery Ascendant world, and is hopefully the first of many more to come (including a new Sorcery Ascendant Sequence book continuing the adventures of Caldan...)....more

RAVEN: REAWAKENING has been a long time coming, and I'm extremely glad that it's going to be released in around 7 weeks! I finished the first draft in late mid 2017, completely restructured the manuscript in 2018, and then restructured back to the original format with less of a focus on flashbacks. I love the cover (which is gorgeous!), and the only thing left to do is to bite my nails until November then freak out about the release......more

Update 16th May 2020: Audible have approached a narrator, and just quietly if he agrees I think you'll be very pleased! I received the IngramSpark print proof and it looks fantastic. Having a print book in your hand somehow makes everything more real.
Update 9th May 2020: Print and ebook files all uploaded and ready to go! Just waiting on final confirmation from Audible of their release date. It's getting exciting!

This day has been a long time coming, as I finished the first draft of Incursion in January 2018. It has been a long, hard (and interesting...) process to get to this stage, but I am extremely happy with the result. I have a cover reveal locked in, so next update I'll post a link. This book is in the home stretch, and it's getting exciting!...more

The only thing left really is the cover, and hopefully there will be some news on that soon. And now while I'm working on the sequel, Dawn of the Exile, I'll continue to confirm which reviewers would like an ARC in August. And with the majority of work I had to do for this book completed, it's time to commence freaking out about the release...
Update: 2nd May 2018: - My final pass of the copyedit is done! The novel is in great shape, and I don't expect any queries from the copyedit (unless they are teeny tiny ones...!) 47North have the manuscript and I guess it's off to formatting/printing very soon. The description has been finalized, along with some promotional taglines. Next up is cover art and hopefully I'll find out about promotions and what's in store leading up to, and after, release in October!...more

This is a standalone prequel to my Sorcery Ascendant Sequence series, which starts with the novel A Crucible of Souls. No previous knowledge of the Sorcery Ascendant series is necessary. It is a novella -- just over 20,000 words -- so it's a quick introduction for new readers or a chance for Sorcery Ascendant veterans to spend a little more time with a younger Felicienne Shyrise. ...more
