Easily a 5 starer!
Its mostly a stroke of amazing luck to find a fulfilling companion during your dark days.I plucked this one during my exams when my patience and attention were seeing themselves cripple under the tedium of education. This book dished me out light and happy morsels of entertainment with its short chapters. What I love about Biz stone narration is how he concludes every story by bringing it to full circle. There are fresh axioms and yet it does not sound too instructive. It astounds me after every chapter to think that this guy(perhaps because of his natural humbleness) is the face of twitter! That founders and billionaires can actually be such individuals with wacky humor and apparently uncalculated personality. At least I always thought a project as huge as Twitter was backed by a breed of quite, shrewd, measured people who didnt go around quoting a funny several digit value for their company at an official meeting before their other driven and far richer contemporaries. Also because its an atypical rags to riches story, where imperfections of life are openly endorsed, it will resonate with you forever. And hence the freshness of the read.
With someone like Biz stone writing them, I would like to pick up reads on the invention of other favorites of mine like Tumblr,Goodreads and perhaps the future mega's like Jelly and Medium without thinking twice! ...more

The language reads like Silk. The rare breed of reads you come across at the most once a year? But this one may easily steal its place in line with the most celebrated pieces of centuary! It surpasses the glorious Alchemist by leaps. And unlike, what i had presumed it to drip with fancy romance,Its anything but it!I loved that surprise.Loved getting my preconclusive impressions blown away..Bowled over! There are 6 mindsets recounting 6 stories in synchrony with one major plot in the past and one sleek plot in the present.Shifting between a number of characters is always kissed by perils of breaking reader's trance! On my end,it hardly goes down well. This is a stark exception!Switching between characters here was akin to resuscitating a glorious plot to a newer, better, thicker scheme. There are thud-moments contenedly frequent and graceful! Its essentially an ad mixture of philosophy with rich fables.

In retrospect, only the hardest of hearts may stay immune to the effect of the incidences recounted here.On more than one occasions I had to fight back tears.
This book however does not seek any sympathy from the reader. And it is due to this intention, the author naturally writes with light humor despite the gravity of the content.
After the pages culminate into the climax of cruelty,my albeit bleeding senses are captured when the author ends on the note: Win the hearts
Hope this title opens the floodgates to the magic of pen against sword in achieving the only purpose the entire humankind is in dire need of: PEACE”...more

The story circles around 2 inseperable love birds who are seperated by typical social forces and reunited without any remarkable incidence but on writer's clumsy whim. As much as I intended to absorb myself and appreciate the author's sense in putting the story together as it is,it lost me. The story is typical to bits The author's point starts hitting home fairly late and when it does its heartbreaking. Read it when you need a change of taste from unconventional love stories. In which case bland will appeal too....more
