Mosab Abu Toha
“In Gaza, some of us cannot completely die.

Every time a bomb falls, every time shrapnel hits our graves,

every time the rubble piles up on our heads,

we are awakened from our temporary death.”
Mosab Abu Toha, Things You May Find Hidden in My Ear: Poems from Gaza

Alice Winn
“What a waste Sandys' last days had been, thought Gaunt. Pathetically attempting to overcome a grief that would never have time to heal.”
Alice Winn, In Memoriam

“It is the question of "common world". The meaning of this world is not solipsism world, the world of "ego", but the world which can be actualize by my consciousness – according to relation of “ego” and caring for another in everyday life. To care for another means one lets go of self-consciousness and self-awareness and relates. We should consider human is constructed directly in term of their own consciousness and not by contrasting that consciousness with a reality independent of them, on the other hand it is constructed separate of his consciousness. So, we should surely consider the relation of human and the world. It seems that what can link these levels is “life-world” which means the idea of releasing human from worldlessness. Life-world as general sphere of individual experience in the world around (including other persons, objects and events) is a real and concrete phenomenon which has root in everyday life for obtaining its living practical purposes and objectively, considered as the basis of knowledge, interests, benefits and common links between humans. In the realm of life-world, transcendence and consciousness link to individual and group relationship and everyday life. For Heidegger consciousness proceeds from understanding, and this understanding is predicated upon our dealings in the world. Consciousness does not belong to the world. It has a practical relationship with it. What is within consciousness is the exact meaning of the word nothing. Consciousness is nothing but an opening to what they are and can only be talked about in this sense. Consciousness is the relationship we experience in praxis. As for a footballer, bodybuilding and fitness is nothing but the relationship he experiences in act, the day of the race and the subsequent races. Therefore, in this meaning, world without consciousness, intersubjectivity relationships -Alfred Schutz calls this quality as we- pure relation- and everyday life is not imaginable. Because of this matter we can't talk about the world without considering the roles of above items. "As Husserl articulated the life-world can be said to include the world of science and action can’t be without world." Even Architecture is not separate from these issues as the communicative.

“Just war theory has been converted into a form of apologetics for whatever atrocities your favored state is carrying out.”
Noam Chomsky, What We Say Goes: Conversations on U.S. Power in a Changing World

We should consider that thought itself arises out of incidents of living experience and must remain bound to them as the only guideposts by which to take its bearings. The artist who continually experiment the possibility of thinking and experience The new, respond to what addressed itself to him, because the new cannot be preconceived. On the other hand The new emerges through process as a shudder that presents itself to us. Even Architecture is not separate from these issues as the communicative.

“Any idiot can kill his enemy with a gun; the hardest is to kill your enemy with love! Love kills her enemy by making the enemy her friend!”

“The revolutionaries are the Anonymous Cloud. You know them too. These are the people who have caused every successful revolution the world has ever seen. They have been likened to a flock of birds, a group of individuals who happen to decide all at the same time to head in the same direction. Some split off, in groups or singly, some are shot, but the flock will continue. If the entire flock is captured, a new flock will form. The idea is the thing, and if the idea is right it will survive.”
Heather Marsh, Binding Chaos: Mass Collaboration on a Global Scale

“In a war as huge as this, there will be many, many, leaders, in every location and aspect of the war. This is not a war for followers. It is the responsibility of each person to become as educated, informed and healthy as possible if you are to make a contribution.”
Heather Marsh, Binding Chaos: Mass Collaboration on a Global Scale

“Any goodness you do in a war and any humanity you show towards any living beings will make you less soldier and more human!”

Heather Marsh
“The establishment is the Military Industrial Complex (MIC) . You know them, these are your banks, the government you elected, the big businesses, the lackey media and the organized crime. You know them, maybe you trust them, you may have started feeling a little, or more than a little, uneasy about them in the past decade or several.”
Heather Marsh, Binding Chaos: Mass Collaboration on a Global Scale

Heather Marsh
“Most of you have probably noticed that most of the world is already at war, has been for a very long time, and there does not seem to be an end in sight or any plans for an end. But some people still have not noticed that this is not a Muslims vs. Christians war, or a United States vs. the world war, it is a war of the MIC against the general populace. This is a war where the populace is kept sickly, ignorant, desperate and above all fearful to keep them from rising up against the MIC. The tools used are drugs (legal and illegal), poor nutrition, environmental hazards, misinformation, blocked access to good information, poverty, stress, crime and, above all, war. The weapons against them will be information, solidarity, good health, great optimism, and mass participation in every aspect of government.”
Heather Marsh, Binding Chaos: Mass Collaboration on a Global Scale

Kurt Vonnegut Jr.
“And I say to Sam now: “Sam - here’s the book.”

It is so short and jumbled and jangled, Sam, because there is nothing intelligent to say about a massacre.”
Kurt Vonnegut, Slaughterhouse-Five or The Children's Crusade

“You were just babies then!", she said.
"What?" I said.
"You were just babies in the war - like the ones upstairs!"
I nodded that this was true. We had been foolish virgins in the war, right at the end of childhood.
"But you're not going to write it that way, are you." This wasn't a question. It was an accusation.
"I-I don't know", I said.
"Well, I know," she said. "You'll pretend you were men instead of babies, and you'll be played in the movies by Frank Sinatra and John Wayne or some of those other glamorous, war-loving, dirty old men. And war will look just wonderful, so we'll have a lot more of them. And they'll be fought by babies like the babies upstairs.”
Kurt Vonnegut Jr., Slaughterhouse-Five

“we got a hint of how the Espionage Act would be used as a club against people with anti-war beliefs”
Art Young, Art Young: His Life and Times

Pat Barker
“What you're saying is, OK the war isn't being fought for the reasons we're told but it is being fought for a reason. It's not benefiting the people it's supposed to be benefiting but it is benefiting somebody. And I don't believe that, you see. I think things are actually much worse than you think because there isn't any kind of rational justification left. It's become a self-perpetuating system. Nobody benefits. Nobody's in control. Nobody knows how to stop.”
Pat Barker, The Ghost Road

Mehmet Murat ildan
“Walking in a very quiet corner of the world, knowing that a brutal war is taking place in another part of the world means clearly seeing that human beings are a stupid creature that chooses hell instead of experiencing heavenly beauties!”
Mehmet Murat ildan

Phil Ochs
“Trust your leaders where mistakes are almost never made
And they're afraid that I'm afraid”
Phil Ochs, The War is Over

Bhuwan Thapaliya
“I’m scared. I’m scared of the dawn. I’m scared of dusk. I’m scared of anything in between. I’m scared of everything. I’m waiting for peace. Then I know, I won’t be scared of anything.”
Bhuwan Thapaliya

“Throughout history, all evil countries with an expansionist militarist mind have been heavily armed under the name of the defense industry. The truth is that there is no distinction between the defense industry and the offensive industry, only the arms industry! Unless the weapon industry is destroyed, humanity will never find peace because if there is a trigger, the one who will pull that trigger will definitely emerge, and the important thing is that the trigger is not produced and if there is one, it is destroyed!”
Mehmet Murat ildan

Mehmet Murat ildan
“If a commander can achieve a victory in a war by keeping all his own soldiers alive and without killing the enemy soldiers, that is a real victory! Is such a victory possible? No, it's not possible, that's why there is never victory in war, and if there is, it is only the victory of death!”
Mehmet Murat ildan

Louise Lacaille
“The interstices of time are highly complex. Time is mutable, and one small step for a man sets mankind on a radically different path. "There are billions of paths, twists and fork-turns. Some lead to triumph, and others to doom. The one we have trodden has risked our annihilation as a species.”
Louise Lacaille, The Time Gene: Book One of The Immortal Cosmos series

Louise Lacaille
“Tears pooled in his eyes. Light or dark, awake and asleep, the scenes were the same. Busy streets that by dawn would be charred rubble and molten ash. Men with briefcases, waving goodbye to their wives, who would never return. Mothers kissing the foreheads of sleeping children who would never waken. For so it would always be in a universe where the Megaton was Lord.”
Louise Lacaille, The Time Gene: Book One of The Immortal Cosmos series

“Dis-le toi désormais
Même s'il est sincère
Aucun rêve jamais
Ne mérite une guerre

(Tell yourself from now on
Even if it is sincere
No dream ever
Is worth a war)”
Jaques Brel

Enoble Asuquo
“Towards the field of no return, many march, before they marched, lies were told.
In the field, greatness lies, this is the lie the masters told the marchers.”
Enoble Asuquo, One Are We: war and peace
