Wow! I’m blown away by all the information in this book. The author, Shawn Wells, took a lot of seemingly complex ideas and broke them down so anyone can understand it. I really love the full-color graphics in the book and that he includes sections on brands he recommends and hacks for how to implement these ideas into my own life. All of this combined really helped me grasp what he was discussing. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who may be feeling stuck in a low energy cycle or who may just be curious how to try incorporating things like fasting, supplements or keto into their life. This book has it all!

So many resources!

This will be such a great resource for understanding how and why diet, exercise, supplements and other health and wellness strategies need to be personalized in order to optimize our ENERGY. The graphics are clear and helpful. The Formulator's Corners, Resource Hacks and Chapter Summaries are incredible resources for quick references. I really enjoyed taking the quizzes and jumping around throughout the book for what I wanted to focus on without feeling lost or overwhelmed. This will definitely be at the top of my recommendation and gift list for years to come!

This book is life changing! If you want to be better, feel better, look better, and perform better in all areas of your life... read this book! Shawn does an amazing job a breaking down each of the “ingredients” for better energy and provides simple steps to master each aspect of health and vitality. Not only will you learn how to have unlimited energy, but you will learn how to upgrade every aspect of your life! And it’s such digestible read! You will fly through this book and come back to it again and again as you make adjustments to your lifestyle. If you’re looking for simple, evidence-based steps to improve your health and energy, this is your book! I couldn’t recommend it more highly! Thank you for the incredible resource, Shawn!

This is a wonderful book! The author has painstakingly distilled dry and complicated science down into engaging, fun content that reads easily. As something of a popular science junky with an interest in health and longevity, this perfectly fit the bill. The book is a comprehensive “crash course” on each topic and is perfect for the beginner, armchair expert, or people with a good amount of experience hacking their own health but looking to upgrade their routine for better rest, mindfulness, productivity and energy.

💎 Brilliant book

💎 Brilliant book. In my opinion, this is the best true book on the theme of biohacking and life optimization. Not that primitive Finnish handbook, that you can find by Google.

I've always had a feeling that the key ingredient in true performance is high RESILIENCE and optimal RHYTHM. This book greatly describes what it is and how to achieve and maintain it. There are a lot of philosophical and practical advices in this masterpiece. Book has a clear structure and excellent summaries at the end of each chapter with self-test questions.

Ditch the Red Bull

There are few things in life that provide us with true, sustained energy. Although I am not big on supplementation, Shawn outlines detailed stacks, both natural and not, that will help us unlock our forgotten boundlessness. He is equipped with unrivaled credibility from years of hit and miss experimentation in the lab, as a clinician and as someone with a thirst for curiosity and human optimization. Everyone will benefit from reading this book.

Shawn gives a lot of helpful tips that can help give us all more energy. I like how he combines his knowledge of nutrition and supplements with other life advice such as getting into flow state.

Awesome book packed with both stories and accessible science. A minimalist's guide to lifestyle optimization. Shawn's descriptions beautifully simplify some complex topics for the layperson.

I watched a YouTube video featuring Shawn, and as he explained how he had spent the past couple of decades experimenting with supplement formulas to help heal his own energy crises, I thought this is a guy who knows his stuff, and I immediately clicked to buy this book.

It has an expansive coverage of topics. Toward the beginning, there's a focus on keto, which was useful for me, as I've just been recommended a keto diet by a nutritionist, and I've been struggling to make it work. Shawn makes it easy to see how keto compares to paleo, Mediterranean, and low-carb diets. Shawn explains some of the research behind keto, some of which was new information taken from leading studies, such as the link between keto and sirtuin. Shawn also makes a nod to new research that shows that women tend not necessarily to do so well with keto and fasting, especially first thing in the morning (which Stacy Sims writes at more length about in her books--highly recommended if you are female). The book's later chapters go into more general lifestyle well-being and I found myself switching off a bit at that point, as that information was somewhat of a re-hash of what has been presented in other sources.

What I thought was particularly useful were the Formulator's Corner sections. These feature useful supplements and contain recommended forms and doses. I rather wish that the whole book could have focused on this element, because the array of supplements out there is bewildering (and not helped by the fact that many influencers are hyping up certain supplements and citing pseudo "research"). A key problem is that we can be spending lots of money on supplements that ultimately don't work. We need experts like Shawn to provide guidance as to what works, what combinations are best, and what to look out for in a product. That said, I noticed some inconsistencies. For example, in one place, Shawn recommended a daily magnesium intake of 200-400mg, and in another place, this range was cited as 300-400mg. I also felt that the Formulator's Corner sections could have been better organized or maybe consolidated into one chapter, because there was some overlap of information and supplements. I lost track of the information in these sections.

Overall, I think Shawn's book is really valuable, but I think it could have gone a bit further in its usefulness of information, especially given Shawn's outstanding credentials and knowledge.

This book has changed the way I look at my physical, mental and spiritual health! If you are looking for a boring health book, this ain't it! This book is full of amazing insights on how to hack your life and health. It's easy to understand and the graphics are so helpful. If you want to uplevel your life then this is the book to do it!

As a health and fitness pro, I'm always looking for way to help my clients feel and look better. This book does all of that and more! The story was unique and the author really took us on his journey. I'm grateful for the new knowledge and energy boost!

This is such a good book
It has loads of graphics to help you understand each chapter. You have summaries and resources all easy to understand. It's great. This book is an absolute must-read for anybody looking to change their life.
