?
Tiles are calculated (including joints) starting with a full tile at top left corner.
If there's a cut tile at the right edge or bottom, it's counted as a full tile.
In the diagram, count tiles horizontally and vertically, including cut end tiles, and multiply to check total tiles.
If there's a cut tile in the length or width, it's counted as a full tile.

Tiles are calculated (including joints) starting with a full tile at top left corner. (Outside edges have no joint)
If there's a cut tile at the right edge or bottom, it's counted as a full tile.
In the diagram, count tiles horizontally and vertically, including cut end tiles, and multiply to check total tiles.
If the last tile on the edge is cut too narrow (less than joint width), it is not counted - adjust joint size slightly to remove it.
See Tile Fit, Spacing, Cut and Joint Calculator top diagram for best layout options.

If you're cutting blocks, concrete, stone or ANYTHING and there's DUST - DON'T TAKE THE RISK
Don't cut it, or cut it wet so there's NO DUST - Silicosis Sucks
And if you're cutting wet, wear a mask - there's dust in the spray mist too!

How should we spell it?

What do we think? - They're 2 different things:
A Meter is a device to measure things - like a Volt Meter or a Parking Meter
A Metre is about 3'-3~3/8"
Although diameter and perimeter as measurements - don't seem to fit very well
If the U.S. ever goes Metric, you'll be able to use a Meter to measure Meters - A Meter Meter
(And when we go back to the moon to Mars, this time, let's go Metric, ay?)
GO Artemis II !! (thats 2, not eleven - and Artemis is Metric, not Imperial, no matter what they say)
