Capes (SA)

Capes is the psychedelic trance act of Ruan Capes. Born and raised in Cape Town, he grew up having a passion for psytrance and it's various subgenres. Jumping milestones as a DJ and finding himself as a music producer and sound engineer, he took Cape Town by storm. Performing all around the city at a number of clubs and festivals, Capes also released various singles and EP's. His style of music consists of dreamy and nocturnal sounds with deep and groovy basslines. In 2012 Capes found his love for the Psy Trance scene, introducing him to a whole new world of the music industry leading him on a journey of music production, sound engineering and live DJ acts.
