Semi Tee

Semi Tee is an amapiano all-rounder who sings, produces, and DJs. He was born Tumelo Ramile in 1999 and raised in Orlando West, Soweto, where he befriended fellow artists Milano and Kammu D. In 2019, they teamed up for the breakout single, “Labantwana Ama Uber,” a satirical critique of drug use and promiscuity that became one of the biggest South African songs of the year. Far from being a one-hit wonder, Semi Tee went on to thrive as a solo artist, releasing a string of albums featuring both emerging talent and amapiano stars such as FOCALISTIC and Njelic. “Labantwana Ama Uber” was followed by more hits including heaters like “Isingisi,” “Lomshini,” and “Onoroko,” all of which combine creative catchy lyrics and pristine production.
