King Aya

Ayaya Socikwa, better known as King Aya, is a South African Music producer, Dj and Sound Engineer from Gauteng, Alberton who grew up in a Johannesburg ghetto on the city's southwest side. At a very young age, he began listening to music, inspired by his mother's record collection of artists like Brenda Fassie, Judy Boucher, Kool & The Gang, and many others. When he was just 12 years old, he discovered his love of house music after hearing the song: Kings of Tomorrow ft. Julie Mcnight – Finally on the radio for the first time. This was the beginning of his enthusiasm for house music. By the year 2008, he had transitioned from collecting House music tapes, making his own DJ mixtapes on cassette to Music Production.
