G-Mode

G-Mode (Guney Mert) was born in Istanbul, but grew up in the capital of Turkey, Ankara. As a little boy he loved music and as a teenager (in 1995) he started to learn the skills of being a DJ. There wasn’t a mentor around to teach him these skills, so everything about the job G-Mode tought himself! Just by looking and watching other DJ’s he soon learned to be a DJ aswell. In the summer of 1996 he began his first job as a DJ in the nightlife of touristic Alanya. These days G-Mode is a popular House DJ playing at several parties all over Turkey and Netherlands. Since 2009 G-Mode started producing his own songs in cooperation with his Turkish representative: label Silvana Records.
