Beatnok is the alias of producer Dylan Nelson. With a strong focus on tonality, Beatnok crosses genre lines with ease by utilizing common musical threads. Based in Detroit but with a cosmopolitan eye, Nelson has released everything from drum and bass to ambient electronics on labels such as AGN7 Audio and Onset before launching his own imprint, Steppe Two.
