ThroDef Dj / Producer / Musician, Theodore Forozis, created his most popular project, “ThroDef”, in 2015. After several years of Studying music, teaching and DJing in popular Venues (clubs, restaurants, bars) in Greece and abroad, he decided to focus on production and sound design. Influenced by the blend produced by the Syrian musician’s invasion to German Electronic Music Scene, his early productions were fuelled by Greek and Middle Eastern traditional music. The result was a unique sound, quickly affiliated to rising record label Cafe De Anatolia and Buddha Bar. 2015 – 2019 • “Eastern soul” is the first single out by Cafe de Anatolia based on the melody of a Traditional Smyrna song. Created an impact and was included in several compilation albums. Was later included in “Alulim” EP. The
