Watashi

With a penchant towards creating dark soundscapes and influences varying from punk-rock, metal to the UK underground, Watashi is treading the grey area between drumnbass, techno and breaks. Watashi released tracks on international labels like XCPT from Italy and Hyperactivity from France in the last couple of years. His music and sets draw heavily on the tension and eeriness created by atmospheric sounds accompanied by rattling breaks which transcends it from being just a background score to the dance floor, a formula he has followed in his monthly radio show “In Limbo” on boxout.fm for over a year.
