Chemicał is a melodic house/techno production duo composed of Teddy Groves (Chemist) and Greg Kiełtyka (Ł) based out of Vancouver, Canada. Both lifelong musicians, their sound is a meticulously crafted hybrid of their own individual musical backgrounds and tastes. As best friends and creative partners, they strive to compose unique, melodic and danceable compositions that merge live instruments, modular synths, and modern production techniques to create a sonic equilibrium, mixing the many down to one recognizable, memorable piece of music. While inspired by artists like James Harcourt, Four Tet, Doyeq, Daphni, Kaz James, CIOZ, Township Rebellion, and Jamie xx, the duo has worked tirelessly to develop a sound that is authentically their own.
