Volzigt’s musical journey began when he picked up a guitar for the first time. It was then that he discovered an unquenchable thirst for music. This initial spark led him down a rabbit hole of synthesizers, sound design, music production, and crate digging, from which he never looked back. Influenced by his early love for hip-hop, house, and the unmistakable groove of disco, Volzigt started out playing vinyl and has navigated through a diverse array of musical landscapes. After years of experimentation and evolution, his productions and DJ sets have crystallized into a sound that is deeply melancholic, uplifting, occasionally tinged with psychedelia, and always rooted in the darker side of organic house.
