Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen director Michael Bay, and Transformers 2 stars Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox are seen above at the film’s Tokyo premiere. Also in attendance were Josh Duhamel, Isabel Lucas, Tyrese Gibson, and Ramon Rodriguez.
Michael Bay’s original Transformers movie took in $319.24 million at the North American box office. Additionally, the special-effects-laden actioner/sci-fier grossed $390.46 million overseas. Transformers reportedly cost $150m, plus marketing and distribution expenses. The Transformers 2 budget is reportedly $200 million.
Notorious for his bombastic movies (and reportedly, personality and behavior), Michael Bay has directed only a handful of features. In addition to the two Transformers flicks, there are also Bad Boys, The Rock, Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, Bad Boys II, and The Island.
