Weeknotes 2025W39

At work this week, there was a multicultural fair that I was invited to to share some Moroccan culture. I made a map of Morocco with the cities I frequented and printed out some of the photos I took during my time there. Trimming the photos down from my 96 favorite ones down to less than 20 was a challenge but I think I captured Morocco as best I could in that small of a space. Peace Corps Volunteers love talking about their service and host country and I am certainly no exception.

In my effort to become an engineer, I started studying for the FE exam with a review manual. I’m sure I’ve forgotten a lot of the engineering concepts I learned in school so I’m using this to brush up on everything. It’s mostly for review but I might end up taking the exam just to get a certification but we will see. I aced the first diagnostic exam (mathematics) which was encouraging.

AM and I biked to a bar to watch the Ducks game. It got too loud and crowded for us so we headed home early. On the way, we ran into the start of a parade and hung around. It was so fun! It was “bright” themed so everyone had neon lights on their bikes, bodies, and vehicles. There was a marching band and different organizations from town. I love living in a city.
