Didn’t get the job I was really excited about but it was outside of my control and nothing to do but get back on the horse and try again. As a consolation prize, I received the Pebble watch that I pre-ordered in March. Google open-sourced the Pebble software and someone quickly got to work making a few new batches. It’s a really fun, semi-retro watch. I’m looking forward to future development on the SDK so I can hack some new faces and apps for it.
I got back into doing crosswords this week. I really enjoyed doing the New York Times crossword every day for over a year but quit for one reason or another. Not to mention the other good games they’ve got on there.
On Friday, we went to the movies and watched Bugonia. What a strange, tense movie. I’ve also been playing Stray after it was free this month after being on my wishlist for a really long time. I’m thoroughly enjoying it. The story is interesting, the mechanics are simple but the levels well-designed, and it is incredibly cute.
