The Vavus Keyboard is a cross-platform translation keyboard available today for iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, and Linux. It adds live dictation, translation, reverse translation, and persistent translation history to any app you can type into — messaging apps, email, browsers, documents, social. On desktop it also adds OS-level hotkeys for the same actions.
How does the Vavus Keyboard work on iPhone?+
On iPhone, the Vavus Keyboard installs as a custom keyboard extension through iOS Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards > Add New Keyboard. Once enabled, you can switch to it from the globe key inside any app and use it for dictation, translation, and reverse translation. The keyboard works in any iOS app that accepts text input.
How does the Vavus Keyboard work on Android?+
On Android, Vavus Keyboard works as an Android IME so it can be used system-wide in apps that accept text input. Install it, enable it in Android keyboard settings, then use dictation, translation, and reverse translation from the active text field.
How does the Vavus Keyboard work on desktop?+
On Windows, macOS, and Linux, the Vavus Keyboard runs as an Electron desktop app that adds three OS-level hotkeys: dictation, translation, and reverse translation. Do I need a Vavus AI subscription to use the keyboard?+
No. The standalone Vavus Keyboard plan is sold separately and works on its own. If you already subscribe to Vavus AI, the built-in keyboard inside the super app is included with your plan; the standalone plan is for users who want only the keyboard product.
