New 'Blade Runner 2049' Short 'Nowhere to Run'


A second 'Blade Runner 2049' short has been released titled 'Nowhere to Run.'

The short film, directed by Ridley Scott's son Luke, takes place in Los Angeles in 2048 (a year before the new film's story), details the events of a replicant Sapper played by Dave Bautista getting involved in some trouble on the streets of futuristic Los Angeles.

You can view the first short 'Nexus: 2036' here. the film is scheduled to be released globally October 6, 2017.

'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2' Super Bowl Spot


Marvel studios have unleashed a new the spot for 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2.' Directed by James Gunn the cast includes Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, Michael Rooker as Yondu, Karen Gillan as Nebula, and Sean Gunn as Kraglin.  New players are Pom Klementieff who plays Mantis, Elizabeth Debicki , Chris Sullivan and Kurt Russell as Ego, the Living Planet.

 Set to the backdrop of Awesome Mixtape 2, 'Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

The gang returns on 28 April 2017 for Ireland and the UK, May 5th 2017 for the good folks in the US.

'Blade Runner 2' Release Date


Alcon Entertainment's sequel to Ridley Scott's 1982 masterpiece 'Blade Runner,' starring Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Robin Wright and Dave Bautista, will now be released worldwide on October 6, 2017, it was announced by Alcon co-founders and co-CEO's Broderick Johnson and Andrew Kosove. Warner Bros will release the film in North America and Sony Pictures Releasing International will distribute in all overseas territories in all media.

The film, initially set for a January 12, 2018 North American release, will be directed by Denis Villeneuve (Sicario, Prisoners). Principal photography is scheduled to begin July 2016.

The sequel, set several decades after the original, is written by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green, and succeeds the initial story by Fancher and David Peoples based on Philip K. Dick's novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep. Story details are not being revealed.
