About Me

The Sewing and Knitting Loft: Texas!, United States; As a young girl, I stood beside the sewing machine, watching my Mother and Grandmothers sew clothing for me, and my sisters and brothers. This is where I got my start, and at about age 10, my own sewing expedition began as I made simple dresses and occasionally a hat or head bandana to match. From there it was sewing my entire wardrobe, including my Senior Prom formal gown. Sewing is a wonderful skill to learn, and I hope our younger generations will take the challenge and sew. I learned to cook standing beside the kitchen stove watching my Mother and Grandmothers as they cooked and baked with lot's of love. Now and then I will share photos of my 3 Yorkies and maybe a good recipe or two.
