My dear Stitchers, good evening everyone! I know many of you have been waiting for it, and finally the pattern that concludes the “Welcome Season” series is ready. I’m delighted to present you Welcome Winter! I’ve chosen my favorite colors: ice grays, a soft, pale beige, and, of course, a blaze of white. Each color is delicate, even silent, so as not to disturb winter, its slumbering nature, which is still full of magic and enchantment.

Carissime Ricamine, buonasera a tutte! So che in molte lo stavate aspettando, e finalmente lo schema che conclude la serie “Welcome Season” è pronto, vi presento con gioia il Welcome Winter! Ho scelto i colori che amo di più, i grigi ghiaccio, un beige morbido e tenue, e ovviamente un tripudio di bianco. Ogni colore è delicato, oserei dire silenzioso, per non disturbare l’inverno, con il sonno, la natura addormentata eppure piena di magia e incanto.


In this pattern, you’ll find everything that makes this white season magical: the snowflake, the snowman, the winter animals or the fawn, the tufted titmouse with its little house, and the stoat. And then everything you need for fun in the snow and ice: gloves, skis and ice skates. And of course, there are the candles that make winter and solstice evenings magical.
I hope you enjoy this pattern as much as the previous ones! I have to say it’s my favorite, but I love winter so much – I was born in winter, and I couldn’t choose a more beloved season.

In questo schema troverete tutto ciò che rende magica questa candida stagione: il fiocco di neve, il pupazzo di neve, poi gli animaletti invernali, il cerbiatto, la cincia bicolore (Baeolophus bicolor) con la sua casetta, e l’ermellino, e poi tutto l’occorrente per divertirsi sulla neve e sul ghiaccio, ovvero i guantini, gli sci con le racchette e i pattini da ghiaccio. E poi non potevano mancare le candele che rendono magiche le serate invernali e solstiziali.
Spero che questo schema vi piaccia, quanto gli altri precedenti! Io devo dire che è il mio preferito, ma io amo troppo l’inverno, sono nata in inverno, e non potrei scegliere un’altra stagione più cara di questa.


You’ll probably think the series is over, and indeed it is… but as I mentioned some time ago, I had an idea for a different color palette for spring, to give those who prefer it a color alternative. So, the new Welcome Spring will be arriving soon, in a… different look! I hope you love it!

For now, I’ll leave you with my beloved Welcome Winter, and with warm wishes for a continued magical winter!

Probabilmente penserete che la serie sia conclusa, e in effetti è così… ma come accennavo qualche tempo fa, ho avuto un’idea su una palette di colori diversa per la primavera, così da dare un’alternativa di colore a chi la preferirà. Pertanto presto arriverà il nuovo Welcome Spring in una veste… diversa! Spero lo amerete!

Hello Stitchers! Today I’m releasing a pattern that some of you asked me to draw over the years. You were right, I’d never drawn a Nativity scene before, and I’m sorry I have not done it sooner. Anyway, the time is now, and here is my version. Recalling the Christmas carol “Oh Holy Night” I wanted to depict the Madonna, Saint Joseph, and Baby Jesus in my Christmas style, bringing them from a typical Eastern setting to one closer to home. Therefore, there are snowflakes, little stars, and red cardinals, announcing the birth of Jesus. A version that may be unusual, but is nonetheless sweet, and I hope you’ll enjoy it.

Buongiorno Ricamine! Oggi vi presento uno schema che in questi anni alcune di voi mi hanno chiesto di disegnare. In effetti avevate ragione, non avevo mai disegnato la Natività e mi dispiace di non averlo fatto prima, in ogni caso, finalmente ecco la mia versione. Richiamando il canto di Natale “Oh Holy Night”, ho voluto rappresentare la Madonna, San Giuseppe e Gesù Bambino secondo il mio stile natalizio, portandoli dall’ambientazione tipica orientale a quella più vicina a noi. Pertanto ci sono i fiocchi di neve, le stelline e i cardinali rossi, che annunciano la nascita di Gesù Bambino. Una versione magari inconsueta ma comunque dolce, che spero vi piacerà.
