Do you find me kissable?

I just ate cat poop! At least, that's what my father said he found me doing. He always rolls his eyes when he sees mom kissing me too much. I say, this is a case of jealousy. End of story.

All girly

What's good about having a sister? Girls play with food, not cars!

How to get what you want

Hello friends!
I hope you all had a very merry Christmas! We are spending a few days with family visiting from abroad and couldn't be any happier.
Mom is not into making my sister believe in Santa and stuff, but she didn't want to tell me he wasn't real... I guess us dogs never grow up in our human's eyes. My sister and I pretended to write my wish list for Santa, just to follow mommy's naive idea. We don't want to ruin her excitement for my supposed excitement!
What did I get? Exactly what I wanted! I was so happy, mom thought it was because "Santa" delivered my present at night. Silly lady.
What did my sister get? A bunch of toys and books and hair clips... She was so overwhelmed and confused, the poor little thing got an allergy reaction right after she finished unwrapping - with the help of mother - her first present. We don't know what caused it, but her eyes and face were swollen and doctor Coco diagnosed an overdose of presents and prescribed one chew bone for next Christmas.

A long journey

It's been a long journey since the day I arrived home seven years ago.
There's been smiles and tears, but mostly  wonderful new friends made along the way.
Thank you all for visiting my blog!
Love,
Coco

Learning every day

My sister goes to school on weekdays while I work hard guarding the house.
On weekends she works hard teaching me what she learned in school during the week.
I'm Coco. A half self-taught, half home schooled world famous pug writer. And I'm proud of it.

Last Sunday

Hello friends!
I haven't blogged in a while and there's a few reasons for that. I wouldn't blame my mother; no, I won't.
I'll just say that her birthday was last Sunday, and that's the day I decided it was time to write again. Yet, it took us A WEEK to do it, thanks to her not being in the mood.
Now, I'll show you what our Halloween was about. It's late and I know it. Happy belated birthday, mother. I am writing on my blog again. It is your birthday present, and I expect you to stop neglecting it, even if there's a lot going on in our lives.

Cheesy

Ever since my family started a dairy free diet, my sister begun showing an increasing interest in my feet. I can't think of any reason for this except that my feet are the only cheesy things left around the house.

My workout buddy

Hello friends!
It is finally the right time of the year to exercise outside, since our chances to be eaten by insects or to get dehydrated with the heat are smaller now, and it will actually be really nice outdoors until summer comes back.
So, according to my humans, that means there's no excuse to keep my huge round belly.
We've been up and out almost everyday, although my mother's hope to lose weight is gone, since we only make it all the way to the corner and back. I say she needs different workout buddies.

Movie night

What do you do when you feel creative on a weekday night? Watch movies. Because mom transferred thousands of pictures to the computer to free up space on the phone, only to find today that the memory card is full anyway. And that there's no more pictures available for my blog.
Let's all hope that we have a chance to use the computer soon - if miss clingy allows it.

Early signs of aging

Hello friends!
I hope you are all doing well! I have a confession to make... I really really need to catch up reading all of your blogs. And also updating mine! But my senile mother can't remember what pictures she's already posted on my blog... Can you believe that? She is younger than me in dog years!
So that makes for yet another post with a picture taken today, no story attached. Enjoy!

The forbidden treat

Hello friends,
Thank you for the birthday wishes!
Speaking of wishes, a couple of weeks ago, I said: "I wish chocolate was not allowed in the house. It is a dangerous temptation".
And then, one week ago, my wish came true. It turns out that my sister got that "must-eat-chocolate-now-and-also-in-five-minutes-and-then-again" gene from my parents. So she would not eat much of anything else. And chocolate was banned from the house.

How The Girl Stole My Birthday Party

Every Pug down in Pugville liked Birthday parties a lot,
but the Girl, who lived just south of Pugville - did not.

From the moment she arrived she was sure to be in charge.
"I didn't have a Birthday Party", was heard from afar.

From the Fountain of Youth, I couldn't drink a drop
for I am too short to reach on my own.

Our plan to photograph The Preserve on my big day was gone
as she soon decided to run back home.

When playtime was over, dinner was served.
I shouldn't have trusted that sweet little face.

For one of those kibbles
was certainly tasted by her.

Of all the food served, it didn't surprise me
that she wouldn't eat, except what was prepared specially for me.

Do you see that little hand?
It stole my carrot cupcake at once.

What other proof I need,
than to show you this.

Ashamed she should be
that I had to sneak in to eat.

With a few doggy cupcakes left
Happy Birthday was sung

But as I prepared to make my wish
The Girl stole my space and blew the candles for me.

The real party started after we ate the cake,
but the dance floor was taken and I found no place.

We started playing games before we hit the road
but she then had to ask why I was in that board.

When chocolate was served, I had no choice
but to complain because I can have none.

It is my birthday, it must be all about me.
Gimme that phone, I am calling home.

With so much going on,
she finally passed out.

And no one can say that I don't like to share
as I celebrated my big day with my very best friend.

~ The End ~

P.S. My Birthday is today. My best friend Jax's Birthday is in two days.
The Girl can't complain, if we like to celebrate.

Training 101

By now you should all know that my mother failed at getting me trained. I was registered for obedience lessons as a puppy but never got to attend because I was sick every other week. When I got better, I lost vision so there was no point in going to a class.
As I was growing up, it became quite obvious that I was the alpha one when daddy was not around; mom had to accept that fact and comply to my requests.
Given that background, I can only be amused at this little person's intent to manage my life. I am constantly being waken up with a loud "wow, wow, come! Let's go! Drink water! No, not here, over there! Wow, wow, take this! Here!".
And today, she intended to tuck me in to sleep on command. "wow, wow, come to sleep! Here, now!". I doubt that's being taught in puppy training class.

Do you know what smart pugs do?

They teach a class early morning and then they go to work for the rest of the day.
