Hellana 2014, wargame convention and... I won...


The last day of March, we reached Agliana, near Florence, to attend
Hellana 2014 and propose the participation game of the Wargame Club Garibaldi.

The game was Hastings, based on Impetus rules...

Not only miniatures but...miniatures, games, food, wine, 
friends and...a really big cup for me! 
I won my painting competition category with my 28mm Jeep...

Paint Table Saturday #2...

This is my second Paint Table Saturday.

my painting table today...presented by... ;-)

Cioporeporter, our famous reporter, observing some 28mm 
WIP Caesarian Romans...

Mukky and some finished, and based, WWI French infantry, 10mm, and 
WIP 10mm WWI German infantry. In the background some 20mm Gallic Chariots...

A visit to a convent...

I visited, obviously with Cioporeporter, the yellow one, a particular art exhibition...
In the Convent of Saint Dominic, Naples, near the San Severo Chapel,
there' s, for some months, the "Impossible Art Exhibition".
It consists of digital reproductions of famous paintings of
Leonardo da Vinci, Raffaello and Caravaggio.
All the digital reproductions have the dimensions of the
original paintings. It' s a great thing for visitors to see only
in a place so many masterpieces of so famous Artists since,
in reality, the original paintings are scattered all around the world...

And the same Convent is a beautiful thing to see...believe me...
