This week Kate realized she had her first loose tooth. She would not let any of us come near her mouth. She wiggled and wiggled that thing all week! As you can see she even stood at her gymnastics holiday show and wiggled! Well Friday Morning at 6:15 AM I was woke up by a sweet little voice telling me that she thought she had lost her tooth. It was still there- I laid her back down and 5 seconds later she found the tooth "Floating in Her Mouth!!!" Finally, we can move on the to the Tooth Fairy now!

We have a new tradition this year! I am sure most of you have seen the book about the "Elf on the Shelf", well, we thought we would give it a try. Every morning, Marty the elf magically appears somewhere new in the house. One morning he even left us a note on the whiteboard. Needless to say it creeped everyone out a little bit.

As you all know, lately we have been overwhelmed by soccer. Well, this last weekend it all paid off for the kids. First of all Sam's team, the Thrashers played in a tournament in Elk Grove against some really competitive teams and took second place. Max's team, the Matrix, played in the district cup fourth division and took first and Abby's team, the Spirit, Played for the district cup championship and won the whole thing!

MAX TURNS 14!!!
December 7 is a memorable day in history because of Pearl Harbor Day but in our house we celebrate the birthday of our- first born- Max! We had a great weekend! Saturday we had a surprise party for him with some of his friends and a bunch of family! Boy was he shocked!!! It was so funny to see his reaction! Sunday we woke up with our traditional breakfast in bed! We were lucky to have cousins Nathan, Sarah and Talmadge visiting from LA. That day was special because Max was ordained a Teacher at church and we also blessed his new little cousin Molly! That night we celebrated with our favorite cupcakes and finished it off with our favorite Danish Birthday song! HOORAH! HOORAH! HOORAH!! What a great kid Max is! A good example of kindness and strength, with a smile that lights up the room!

Getting Ready!!!
Every year my mom, "Nana" helps the kids decorate our trees. Since Nana was in LA for Thanksgiving we waited until she got home Sunday to start the front tree. It was fun to have Chase here to join in the fun! Finn loves to put up the garland! It is so exciting to get ready for Christmas!

We are Thankful....
We had a great Turkey Day in Napa. We spent it with Finn's family! My brother David, his wife, Emily, Chase and new baby Molly came with us! It was just nice to be together. All Finn's siblings were there. The kids all made these cute place cards before we went. It was such a great weekend!

Halloween Festivities!
A couple of pictures of Kate at her harvest party! Halloween night we had our traditional Halloween party with lots of food, friends and fun!! Of course, Max had to be a scary clown! (I miss dressing him up in the cute traditional costumes but he is 13 now.) Abby was Little Red Riding Hood, Sam was Napoleon Dynamite and Kate was our beautiful witch. What a great night we had. I added a darling picture of our newest little niece, Molly Jane.
