I am perplexed as to why you thought Stalker was boring but not Taste of Cherry. If you are interested in Kiarostami then the next film you should watch is Close-up, a masterpiece.

I have brought CLOSE-UP to near the top of films that I need to review in the next few months. Will try to find it at the Esplanade library.

As for STALKER, I didn't really enjoy the film as much as I admired it. I am perplexed to some extent myself!
