I have released my own electronic edition of The White Angel of Death. It is now available through Amazon in the Kindle format. This was the last writing related task that I wanted to get done before Marcon. It is also the only way reader can now buy this novel. At some point in the future I will put a print copy back in circulation, but I want to be sure that I have the rights to do that.

I just published my novel, Earl’s Big Weekend. It’s one of my favorites, having been very fun to write. This makes three novels, all of them published, although The White Angel of Death is currently out of print. I am working on an ebook edition of it so hopefully in a few days, everything will be out.

It took awhile, but Irish magazine Albedo One Things Change Issue 49 has finally been released with my story, “Some Notes…”    There is no way to buy it from their website, neither the print nor digital editions, so I don’t know what’s going on there.  I probably should email the editor and ask.  They also haven’t paid me yet.

But it’s good to get the story out, at last.  Since that was the last one in my backlog, I can now put together a collection with all the stories and publish it through Kindle Direct.  This is an exciting prospect.  I’m very proud of my short stories.

My short story, “A World Where Sandy Never Died,” about an alternate universe where Sandy Denny is still alive, made Andromeda Spaceways Magazine’s annual anthology, The Best of 2018.  My copy arrived yesterday and it looks great.  In this digital age, when most of my output has been on the Internet, it is always special to have a published hard copy of one of my stories.  It now sits on my bookshelf with my other stories.

The word “Best,” is also not lost on me.

I woke up Saturday to an email giving me the news that Andromeda Spaceways Magazine is republishing my story A World Where Sandy Never Died in its best of 2018 anthology, which will be a print publication. They didn’t say when it will be out and I’ll have to buy it ($14.95 AU) but that’s cool. This is the second time I’ve been anthologized and the third time, a story of mine has been selected as one of the best of the year.

My schedule for the upcoming Marcon is out.  I’m hoping that readings will be handled separately and that I’ll be getting word on that soon.  Marcon is held in Columbus, OH at the Crowne Plaza Columbus North in Worthington on May 10-12.  Their website is marcon.org.

Reliquary Press has finally published my second novel The White Angel of Death.  It is available online from Amazon and Barnes and Noble.  I’m very happy to have the book available at last.  It’s a good book and I’m anxious to see what people think of it.
